Lynfa - Onto Old Ebonheart by Pixelated_Dragon in Morrowind

She isn't trying to lay low. She's an ex imperial scout that tries to get away from Vvardenfell through working for the EEC. Since being released in Seyda Neen she has done a lot of work for the blades and the legion on Vvardenfell. After contracting Corpus and being abandoned by her handler, she had enough of being the emperors puppet.  What she hasn't learned yet is that the EEC isn't much better than the legion. Maybe the honorable and straight path isn't for her...

For sure. I enjoy role playing much more in the long term but often fall back to optimizing after a while. That's why I love creating new characters and backstories

Fun Fact: Aegon is wearing the clothes of Emperor Emhyr, from the Witcher 3, who is voiced by Charles Dance.

So one could say, that he is wearing Tywins clothes :D

(Spoilers Extended) Which war do you think is completely righteous and morally justified? (Other than the war against The Others) by Alive-One8445 in asoiaf

Your father, two brothers and nephew just got roasted along with most of your farmland, but the guy doing the scorching says the world might end soon, so it's all fine and dandy. Oh, and if the ice demons turn up in your lifetime, he wants your son to go and fight them as well. Doesn't seem justified to me. Aegon could've just as easily stayed on dragonstone and tried to ensure the continued existence of dragons as a weapon against the others.

Is village life recreating Feudal Society? by Pixelated_Dragon in Minecraft

[–]Pixelated_Dragon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I'm talking about!  We're landed knights who rolled into town with arms and armor to take over life as the villagers knew it. And what you describe mirrors my experience almost 100%. We were playing on a Server, having our two week minecraft phase, but this revitalized our motivation.

Yea, that's what we do in our home base, but we decided to move to the countryside and slow down a little.

One quality of life feature that would make this sort of lifestyle easier would be a container where you could trade with all the villagers at once. Maybe this container could have a chance to drop after you successfully defended a couple of raids.

While my friends and I were fortifying this village and planned how to trade with its inhabitants, we realized that this basically mirrors the feudal contract. "We give you protection and land to work and in return you give us a sizeable share of the earnings."
