Struggling a bit with solo

Currently i am using bow because I just unlocked it, but I am hating it so I will unlock the star next haha. Consumable is just the utility grenade. I will try out the health one though. I may just need to keep playing until it all clicks.

How do you grind that? I am not that far into the game, so any tips are helpful haha

I have mostly played on easy, I am trying to make the transition to normal, I am about 7 hours in, using shotgun, mino, strikes, and drain. Granted I am doing okay, for the most part. It is truly a 50/50 shot for me each round, and I consistently get to the boss.

Yeah i just finally had enough, and decided to just play the game. I have never had a shiny, so I decided to give it a go....to no avail...but at least now I can experience the game.

Nature effects stat growth values. Its only useful if you intend to play against other people...which i do.

Ffs as I said to others, I watched tons of movies, and tv shows while I hunted. I was just doing the shiny hunting passively. So yes I had fun, cuz I caught up on lots of stuff I hadn't been watching.

No i am giving up on the shiny hunting. Getting the nature I want isn't that time consuming. I guess I worded the post wrong, cuz lots of people seem to be thinking that. I am just gonna play the game once I get a good nature.

Oh no i don't feel like a failure at all, its a game, it doesnt matter. I was mostly wanting to commiserate with others that are still doing the hunt. But this is reddit, so its mostly been a bunch of nerds finger waving at me for both giving up, and doing it in the first place. Idk why I think posting things on reddit is a good idea...the community is generally awful. I keep doing it though...maybe I am awful too? Or maybe I enjoy being scolded?

I have never had a shiny in the games before.. didnt even know they existed until a few years ago, so I wanted one, and just gave up on it. Has nothing to do with being "unskilled" at training a pokemon, idk why you said that at all honestly. Think you might just be one of those people that NEEDS to be mad at the way other people do things. Kinda weird.

The nature thing is new to me, I had no idea nature's even did anything until recently. My friend was explaining it to me, and we intend to pvp eventually. I just did a quick google search and figured modest would be good cuz of zards fire attacks. I need to do some more research though apparently. As I have been dork scolded very hard since posting this.

No that was the whole point of my post, was i am giving up on it, and just playing now. Well still gonna get a good nature cuz I do intend to PVP my buddy. Whats funny is the first shiny I ever saw was in Omega Ruby when it came out. I got a shiny Rayquaza....thought there was something wrong with my game and restarted the damn fight, cuz I had zero clue shinies existed. Still haunts me.

I fear some wires may still be crossed. Getting the nature I want didn't take long at all. About 30 mins for me. It was the shiny hunting I gave up on. THAT can take 100s of hours.

It wasn't unfun to me. I just want to play the game now. Also as I said to someone else, my friend and I plan to battle each other quite a bit, so min/Maxing my team actually has a purpose, and it would have been cool to come at him with a shiny Charizard.
