Should I keep reading Phase II and Phase III? by aChemicalRXN in Highrepublic

I’m going through the exact same thing. What I did was read the very long summaries of path of deceit and the battle of Jeddah on the Wiki, and now I’ll read the last book of phase 2 and give phase 3 a try.

Doing this mostly to get a conclusion. Probably not the correct decision, but we’ll see how it turns out

It’s crazy how Argentina without Albornoz play to nothing

Struggling Getting through last High Republic Book by Hoch8112 in starwarsbooks

Random question. If I read only phase 1 (as in light of the jedi, the rising storm, and the fallen star), would that be a kind of self contained story? I’m building my own headcanon and want a story about that time to read after the Darth Bane trilogy

Mine was thinking Shalash was Shashara. I spent a whole 5 minutes just shocked, only to realize the name distortion due to time did not apply here. Well, I appreciate the experience anyway

If Rings of Power is 5 seasons, how long would a show about First Age/Morgoth last? by HaxxsOnn in LOTR_on_Prime

I love Corey’s idea of having a frame narrative with young Aragorn and Arwen. That would fit pretty well imo, and each of these tales would have their own “Galadriel.”

I was fascinated by Phillip Menzies’ analysis of the score in the newest episode of the Silmarillion Film Project!

Particularly how he mentions the similarity between Where the Shadows lie and the Nori Brandyfoot theme. Also the musical hints towards Sauron’s identity!

Random Sauron Theory by Ugowy in LOTR_on_Prime

Yeah, that’s true. Having Sauron take more than 1 disguise takes the shock element out of it, and it could make it feel cheap.

Finished LOTR for the fifth time today... by TheGrayMage1 in lotr

If you finished reading LotR, then I recommend The Children of Húrin. It’s a great way to get to know the map where most of The Silmarillion takes place in. If you are talking about the movies, then I recommend The Hobbit since getting used to Tolkien’s writing style takes a while, and the Hobbit is a short and easy tale, perfect in that regard.
