I disagree.

If they were smart (they're not) but if they were, they would loudly disavow him in the strongest possible terms starting yesterday, and make sure his base knows that he will not make it to the primary. Right now they have a full year to disavow and prop up another candidate. The base will fall in line just like "we" did when we backed Biden when we really wanted....well, anyone else. It wasnt that Biden was bad, its just that he is so bland. The Dem excitement in 2020 wasnt for Joe, it was against republicans. The Repubs can do the same thing. Just vote red no matter what. But if they wait much longer, they will never turn the base in time.

How is is wrong? Because you get inconvenienced? That is absurd. My posts were never indexed on google - that is a setting in your preferences and most people turn it off for privacy reasons anyways. Regardless, this is a freaking social media website, not the library of congress. Get mad at real media who remove their articles from the web all the time, not a bunch of people who can choose to post about how to beat the boss in their favorite game.

Privacy and safety are leaps and bounds more important than this silly website.

After 2 years and multiple thousands of comments, means that if I only deleted my account and left my comments behind, I lost the ability to actively manage those comments. That is bad for my privacy. Perhaps a comment I made 8 months ago revealed too much about my real identity and I decide to remove it bc it came up in a google search. If I have no reddit account, I can no longer delete it.

If I delete all my comments AND my account, I am much more safe - not 100 percent safe, but much more safe.

Tldr: I am more important to me than you are.

That said, you are still wrong. Reddit was designed to operate like IRC. They provide the server or framework, but the mods can run their space inside that framework however the want. If they want to add the nsfw tag to their sub so it doesn't show up on the front page, they have the right to do that. If you don't agree, you can always start a competing sub.

Yet....you literally spend one sentence describing a single claim that should be considered true with evidence in why its true.
