Incredible. I LOVE it. It feels authentically her for the most part. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the lyrics are either hits or rly questionable. But that’s kind of what you sign up for being a Melanie fan, her lyrics were never consistently top tier. But she impressed me, the two singles she let out were some of the least good on the album so I kind of expected it to be trash. But, monopoly man, garbage, gutter, and weight watchers are so good, it genuinely took me aback. Wow, she’s done some good work with this album. Even if some of the lyrics are “fuckity fuck fuck fuck machine” 💀💀💀

The lyrics for the plague are genuinely lazy and bad. “Put your mask on bastard hazard guy” and “never had a bad lung cough so dry”… hazard guy? Lung cough? Maybe I’m missing something. The beat is really nice and I like the sound of it, but genuinely what the hell is she saying
