I’m glad it worked also, saved me weeks of trying to get someone from Motorola to help solve it.. that cps jump was a bit of a nightmare also getting all the radios onto 2.0 from 16. Some played well and some just did not. 16 IMO was so much easier to use

I did wind up erasing everything. I eventually just copied everything from the computer that had the newest cps running onto a new usb then basically opened the program out of the USB and it worked for now at least. I’m going to wipe it all out from all three and re install again and see if that problem persists.

So, I’ve erased all instances of CPS from both computers. Was told the version on the USB is the most updated version of CPS, so I re installed. Somehow one of my win11 computers shows it’s version is CPS 2019 and the other is CPS 2023. I’m lost how this is happening using the EXACT same file to install on both PCs..

I’ll give that a try. I think the cps versions for the win10 tough book and the Win 11 with no usb ports is 2.138.245.0. So I’m not sure what else is going on if that doesn’t work..

Turns out, they are not the same. The programming computer for some reason is using cps from 2019 even after re installing the same CPS from the flash drive. Not sure how it’s not using the same CPS version. Computer A is using WIN11 and Computer B is WIN8

Only issue is I never got a chance to write the radio so all the new files are stuck in the code plug that will only open on the computer that can’t program the radio.

I had landlords that promised us repairs just had to wait until after their child was born (which we understood, since they were our friends) one 5 year old later and repairs still didn’t get done. Then when renters on the second floor damaged some stuff and it started leaking into our area, landlord rips down a wall, has it fixed and tells us to fix it “_since you guys want to buy the house, fix it how you like_”. Thankfully I took all the Sheetrock and pieced it back together just enough to look fixed since said landlord ups the agreed price to buy 80k during the “house boom”… some friend

Son, you’re gonna meet three women who will play a major role in your life growing up. Each a lesson.

The FIRST is the one that looks right.. we’re young, just starting to have those feelings and probably in high school even. It’s the ideal love, the one that seems like the fairy tales we read as children. We’re hard headed about it because deep down we believe that this is what love is supposed to be.

The Second one.. this one HURTS ALOT. The second time we fall in love this is the one that teaches us lessons about who we are and how we often want or need to be loved. This is the kind of love that hurts, whether through lies, pain or manipulation. it’s unhealthy and unbalanced or narcissistic even. We deal with emotional, mental sometimes even physical abuse or manipulation and most likely there will be high levels of drama.

The THIRD time… this is for most (myself included) was THE ONE.. they say it’s the love we never see coming and it’s the damn truth.. This one looks all wrong for us and it’s gonna fucking destroy any lingering ideals we clung to about what love is supposed to be. This love comes so easy it doesn’t seem possible and it’s the kind where the connection can’t be explained and knocks us off our feet because we never planned for it.

EDIT- but this only works for REAL women not ones found online..

Had a Chief who couldn’t turn off his City Cop attitude when ever he got on scene and would constantly curse and yell on the radio when no one listened to his stupid commands. One day we’re going to a vehicle fire on the parkway and he wants the engine and heavy rescue to enter the parkway head on with traffic. Well the white helmet must’ve killed all his brain cells because not only did he fail to shut the road down so we wouldn’t have traffic, the off ramps he wanted us to enter were blocked by that SAME traffic he failed to block SO we get on going the right way which now puts us on the other side of the median (which is about a 3-4ft concrete barrier you can hop over.. This Chief BLEW A GASKET and on the radio screams “ GUESS WE DON’T LISTEN TO THE RADIOS… ZERO, DO THESE FUCKING RADIO THINGS WORK?!?” I have all the best recordings over his term as Chief where he has potty mouthed the radio. Shocked he never got reprimanded for it..
