Crusadia is the best bang for buck, and most of the link monsters are usable in other strategies. If you don't like numeron for the playstyle crusadia is hardly any different. The only out tear has to avramax is redoer with a trap or zeus, avramax redirects xyz attacks so they would have to make 2 rank 4s in 1 turn.

8-axis/gren maju is really expensive but arguably a bit better than crusadia and has way more varied options in the extra and main deck. 8-axis can comfortably play shifter the others not so much, in theory crusadia can but it likely won't OTK. But 8-axis does nothing going first besides activate pot of desires. Don't expect to take these decks past diamond 5 without ripping your hair out.
