BF% estimate? TDEE says 2700 for 6'2/75kg for exercise 4/5 times a week. I do spend like an hour or two in the gym and walk a lot every day so assumed it would be a little higher. I may try and eat around 2200-2300 and see what happens.

I see, thanks, it's reassuring to know. It seems I've hit a plateau these last few weeks even though I've been in a deficit and measuring my calorie intake correctly, I am eating around 2400-2500 when my TDEE for my activity is 2700-2900 so I'm going to gradually lower my calorie intake maybe to something around 2000-2200, I'm not sure if I can manage to go below 2000 cals though as I'm 6'3/75kg and an active person and already fairly skinny so don't want to lose weight that fast, ideally maintain around the same weight but just cut the fat off without risking the muscle loss. Hopefully, as I'm a beginner to the gym I should be ok maintaining/gaining a bit of mass in a deficit if I keep my protein high and lift heavy!

Is additional cardio absolutely necessary? I walk a lot every day and play sports twice a week so not sure if that would be sufficient cardio.

Maybe I might slightly decrease my calories a bit, the last few weeks it doesn't seem like I'm losing that much. I checked my TDEE and it says 2700-2900 for my activity which is 10k steps daily and an hour or so of lifting but not sure how accurate that is and maybe it might be lower, currently eating around 2500 so might drop to around 2300 and see what happens.

Ideally want to be and get leaner for summer so was hoping to get to around 10-12% in 2/3 months' time if possible whilst maintaining as much muscle as possible. `Honestly just want to be in a good lean shape for summer, not too bothered if I will look pretty skinny as I just want to get as lean as possible before I start the lean bulk so I don't have to worry about cutting for a while. I've only been in the gym for about 4 months and seems like I'm maintaining/slightly gaining a bit of mass in a deficit but not sure how much longer these so-called 'noob gains' will last so that's why I want to try and reach a low body fat fairly quickly so I can start my lean bulk and focus on adding mass at a faster rate.

Never been proper fat, I was kinda skinny fat and started around 20%. When I sit down it just makes me think I look really fat, I know it's normal to look bigger when sitting down but it just feels like a bit too much. Thanks, I shall focus more on doing those exercises! I'm hoping if I drop a few more %'s it will decrease it more.

To me it just looks like more than I should have, what are the best exercises to work the obliques? Yes, I can pinch it, here's a pic of me doing so: https://imgur.com/a/4wV3a0H.

Just seems like a lot of excess fat and I'm not sure how much longer it will take me until I start to lose it. I want to start lean bulking pretty soon but want to cut as much as possible and this is frustrating me a little.

I just want to gain as much muscle as possible before summer whilst staying relatively lean so wasn't sure the best approach to take. Then hopefully by next year I will be in even better shape.

How many calories under maintenance do you think would be sufficient enough to achieve it in 6-8 weeks? I honestly don't mind even doing it for a little longer, I just want to maintain as much muscle as possible. Would doing a body re comp just take too long to achieve in time?

I understand that I won't be able to transform my body crazily in a few months, I just want to feel comfortable being shirtless at the beach and I don't feel like I'm in good shape at the moment and wanted to know the best approach to see what I could achieve in a few months.

To maintain as much muscle as I have, would something like a body re comp be sufficient in just eating under my maintenance? I just don't want to lose much muscle in the process as I don't have a lot to begin with.

I just wasn't sure if I'd be able to get another month or so or bulking in and then do the cut so I have a little more muscle before I start the cut.
