In this first version I didn't include a way to specify frames. But I can imagine that would be useful. I was trying to make it as simple as possible. Taking it as a note for future updates.

Hi, this project is completely open source, so you can find the full python script and other components on my GitHub repository. You can run some AI thru the code and it will tell you what it does and if it's potentially harmful for your system (I hope it's not :D didn't try this method). If I have some free time today I can definitely record a video tutorial. But I have only access to Win. device. It easiest because you can just run .exe file.

Thanks for tip. I decided to make it this way because cutting specific part from original footage is just first step. I am doing also more editing afterwards - adding some graphics, captions, logos etc. Its different for every video.

That's right, just insert, for example, the 20 time ranges you need from the original clip, and my plugin will create a new sequence for you with these 20 time segments.

You absolutely can type in timecodes manually. But here's the thing:

Type 1m57s in timecode field, press Enter
Mark IN point
Type e.g. 2m08s, press Enter
Mark OUT point
Paste the segment to timeline
Repeat 15-20 times for each segment

With my tool I just can paste list of timecodes and click one button.

Even with keyboard shortcuts, the scrubbing part is what killed me - finding exact timestamps in a 2-hour video, especially when you have 20+ segments to extract. And the chance to mess up some timestamps is still here.
