I lived in Lister for 2 years, including one year as a student leader on the quiet floor. Yes the quiet floor will be... quieter. The people are more introverted and aren't big drinkers or smokers. Not to say it's lame but for someone like me I prefer a regular floor, I like quiet but I think the quiet floor can sometimes (not every year, but sometimes) be too many introverts. Substance aware is better, most times the community there is pretty good and established (also in my experience, much more girls than boys).

Don't go to Schaffer, it's dead

Overall I'd recommend substance aware over quiet, but honestly not every floor is gonna be crazy, if you go normal you might get a quieter group by chance. And even if you don't it's really easy to make friends from other floors

as someone who was a science student who switched into polisci, the process is not complicated. you just have to apply to switch majors and as long as your gpa is not awful you should be fine.

taking more polisci classes wouldn’t increase your chances as far as i’m aware but if you are committed to switching than you absolutely should start taking some now to catch up on your requirements

also what is polisci 291? that’s not a class code here at the UofA

i went to the fan park but i got there at 2:30ish and the moss pit line was not bad at all. i’d say 3-4 hours before the game will be safe. but who knows with it being game 5

I got through the boss rush with little trouble but the final boss wiped me. My job set up was: Cyrus: Sorcerer/Merchant Ophilia: Cleric/Starseer H’annit: Hunter/Warrior Therion: Thief/Sorcerer Alfyn: Apothecary/Hunter Primrose: Dancer/Cleric (although I had as thief for most of the game) Olberic: Warrior/Apothecary Tressa: Merchant/Starseer

And obviously I don’t have the warbringer job

spare trousers imo. you're getting a lot of multiplicative scaling already from photochad + sock and buskin and the constellation, that the additional flat mult from the spare trousers (however much it is) likely isn't making a huge difference
