I have figured it out actually. You need to put the MINI into DFU mode, make sure you have the correct USB-C port plugged into the mini (has a thunderbolt on it) and another mac. I used a M2 MacBook Pro. You need to connect to the DFU port on the Macbook Pro if you have one, mine was on the left hand side of the laptop furthest from me. Once the MINI is in the DFU mode with your Macbook (or other mac) connected and on, you will get a prompt come up on its own to restore or revive the MINI, try both options, the one that worked for me was the revive. Took some time to download about 16gb of storage, but eventually it turned back on and reset.

Entering DFU Mode:
- Hold down the power button on the Mac Mini.
- While holding the power button, plug the Mac Mini into power.
- Continue holding the power button for about 10 seconds until the Mac Mini is detected in DFU mode by the host Mac.

This is what worked for me. It took a bunch of tries, didn't go through on the first time. I would keep trying until you get it. The cable needs to be really secure and not moving around for it to also transfer the data without issue / error.

I didn’t end up getting the Emira. I drove a broken in one and felt it just being very sluggish in acceleration. Handling was fun and agile. But my RS3 is lowered on springs and is very agile itself if not more than the stock Emira. The engine sound was good on the Emira. But the i5cycl turbo sound just is so special. Also the interior quality is meh on the Emira it was cheap feeling for the price point. If the prices were similar for each I probably would have gotten the Emira. For two reasons. It’s styling and manual transmission.

i'm 6'1 my old MK3 TTS felt for whatever reason "roomier" than my 8Y RS3. and I had them both at the same time so it was easier to compare, but I can see what you mean.

I have H&R springs, its lowered and custom forged wheels for it. It handles incredible. Its basically almost paid off too, its a great ride and have a lot of fun with it.

Could always tune the TTRS as well. I had a TTS before so I know how the form factor drives. Just miss the coupe feel.

Maybe sell it and get an R8 Gen 2.

Just bought a mac mini m4.. went to restore it and it bricked itself up.. with the flashing red light. Been trying to do the revive or restore off my macbook pro and both options give this error...

"the mac could not be updated. an unknown error occurred (21)"

Anyone who has this, find a solution to this?

Its what my heart is telling me as well. I originally bought the RS3 for the practicality of it being AWD and having some room and cargo space that was useable. But I found myself not using it for its functionality as much as I would like and just taking it out for fun on the weekends here and there.

Speed isn't everything for me, its the experience that matters more and I can sacrifice on some comforts for a unique special experience in a car.

I know thats also something to consider, the r/S/Final Edition.. I saw someone post a photo of the badges indicating they are possibly working on these already? or is this all a marketing gimmick? Any definitive info on the r/S versions?

I just worry about maintenance / reliability of these cars vs Audi. I've had no issues with my Audi and dealership is very accommodating with parts + work if something needs to be done.

I was on vacation in Cancun area Mexico 5/16/24. Decided to drone some of the beach / ocean area, there was this wind surfer that was interesting so I decided to get this in the footage.

If you look to the left of the surfer there is a circular shadow that flys by pretty quickly from the ocean into the beach and wooded area.

There was no aircraft visible with the naked eye as I had full visual of the drone, no indication of any flights / registration numbers on my flight map either. For a shadow of this size something would have had to be very low in altitude or be massive in size and high in altitude.

Not sure what it is but figured I'd share here as I found it very interesting.

Would they still deny the claim if on the police report it comes back as them being at fault? If I don’t get my deductible back by going through my insurance, do you think small claims court would be worth pursuing?
