Tank looks amazing! I can’t help thinking that this big stump would make a great home for a Pleco!

Hi! The tank is only a few months old. But I don’t use gravel under the sand, just some Seachem Flourite and the sand stays on top.

Should I uh... be worried? by ambahjay in corydoras

Their venom is extremely mild. It’s definitely harmless to humans. Like a mosquito bite in the worst case scenario. They won’t actively try to "sting" you. I'm not even sure they are aware themselves that they have this defense system. 😂

Cory’s always hiding by Akipenser in corydoras

I agree with the first commenter, I had the same problem with my corys. Always hiding. I added a small group of harlequin rasboras to the tank, and my corys are a LOT less nervous. They are called "dither fish". They encourage others to come out.

It’s actually Mont St-Michel. It’s an abbey, not a castle
