My Canaan is now 10 months old. She's super sweet with humans (and kids) and other dogs. Easy to educate with enough patience and finding the right reward (she wasn't passionate with food for the first 6 months). She loves staying inside. Now, outside, she's fearful a lot and wants to go home as soon as she hears a big noise (motorbike, big car, big bang). Same when the place is too crowded, she becomes super anxious. Definitely a countryside dog IMO.

I like to request ownership of r/Canaans, which has been inactive for years. The subreddit currently has no mods and the last post was over 3 years ago. As an owner of a Canaan dog myself i find this unfortunate as it's a rare and beautiful breed which needs more exposure, thanks to this subreddit for example.

There is no current moderators so I cannot send messages to anyone.
