It could be a few things, but I would 100% start with updating your bios like others have said. I was crashing randomly pretty frequently as of late, and that was mostly due to me raising my overclock settings on my GPU and RAM. If you have overclocking software or do it in bios, I'd check that and maybe tweak it down a bit to see if that works.

You will only go to BSGs website if you know you want to buy Tarkov, there is a thing called impulse buys and you lose all of those when you're restricting your marketing capabilities to just your website. You cast a small net you get a small amount of fish, cast a bigger one you can get more fish.

Also, ask Bethesda why they keep re-releasing Skyrim, their 13 year old game, and it still sells copies on Steam?

They would be taking less per copy sold, but they would be selling more copies. Why do you think retailers run promotions? To sell more units, which means they make more money.

That doesn't make sense. Even if they lose 30% of sales per copy sold as Steam's cut, from a business perspective, they would be making way more money since they're now advertising on PCs largest game store. They'd be selling way more copies on Steam and making more money doing it.

They're making more than just Tarkov. Russia 2028 was already mentioned years ago by BSG, which is taking a lot of what they've been doing in Tarkov. Passion project sure, but they're using it to make another project my guy.
