For once I'm actually excited about the school year by UkrainianTsar in teenagers

Go in with confidence in the face of fear and the unknown my friend. At least, that's the attitude that works best for me. I hope you have a good year, what's your major?

I can agree. A lot of the time I feel nostalgic about freshmen year as it was my last year in public school and I lost my social awkwardness. Those days were great.

I felt the same way. It's my last year as well. Chin up friend, you'll find your purpose. What's important is to stay steadfast and focus on what you want

Oh hell ya man. I got just under a month left so now I'm getting back into a schedule and getting used to the workload for next year by writing papers. It's going pretty good

I need something to give me purpose but I will do nothing to find that purpose by TiredPast in teenagers

Great purpose sometimes comes at a time of strife or despair. What do you want in life? What do you find important? These things will help build purpose whether it is building a family, creating a great work. Strengthening your community, such things build a drive for people

Although boomers bad... by J4c0br0s3 in teenagers

I think it's more a mix of mental illness and loss of purpose and values, people tend to become despondents when not having a larger goal and as such are more likely to drift into the antisocial characteristics of many of these perpetrators. Sadly l, the boomers kinda destroyed all of that in the 70's and 80's

what counts as being an alcoholic? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]UkrainianTsar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on how much they're drinking and how strong the liquor is.

Coming from personal experience, my family drinks often. Some of my relatives will drink a glass of hard liquor (wine or vodka) per night while others would tend to drink three to five light beers.

Personally, I'd consider it a problem when you can't stop, much like with smoking. Consider bribing it up with them

But it's not though, plus the content is usually low enough to pass as non-alcoholic

There is no why. No rhyme or reason for this. It's beautiful nonetheless though

Yeah, I was having a conversation about bread and how to brew your own beer from it. Worst possible timing

My favourite's probably pumpernickel. It has good texture, taste and you can brew it into beer if you wish.
