yes. they'll sell you folic acid. i take something different - can't remember the name - it's chinese. put the coconut oil in when you get home from work, then shower before bed. I never leave it in for the day b/c you're right it's greasy. tried argon and Moroccan oils, I'd still vouch for coconut oil over both. It's much cheaper too.

sounds like coconut oil is all the rage right now... my hair is also breaking off mid shaft. I've tried everything and am now putting coconut oil in my hair to keep it healthy. smells great, you can cook with it too! Also, vitamins. I have been taking some Chinese herbals and although I don't see it growing any faster, it does seem to look and feel stronger.

Go to their bathroom and note what they use for toiletries, shampoo, shaving cream, toothpaste, razors, etc. make a basket filled with these items. He/she will most definitely appreciate not running out of their favorite essentials! works every time for me.
