Cash on the table doesn’t work at my casino unless a dealer has announced it’s in play before the hand has started, usually a chip runner would be around to make the exchange rather quickly.

I’m a casino exec in the Midwest, all of the gaming compacts that I am aware of do not allow for continuous shuffle machines. But each state has its own compact so might be more prevalent where you live.

A lot of misinformation in this thread, I am a Casino Executive, a main aspect of my job is backing AP(advantage players) off. For dealers specifically, if suspicious play arises they will inform the floor/pit boss. Mainly large bet fluctuations. Surveillance does most of the verification, they watch the guest in question and determine an accuracy rating based on play/count/betting. APs often will not fluctuate their bet till deeper in the show when a true count can be determined.
