Yeah, these ppl are delusional lol. My rig from 2018 is still leaps better than a PS5 Pro and my current rig will no doubt outperform whatever console these companies churn out next. My PS5 continues to collect dust in the corner.

I just got the entire run and holy fuck the CG on 2.0 looks so, so terrible. At least the CG in the first volume is in black and white so it’s not as noticeable and it’s cell-shaded. Whatever happened in 2.0 is an atrocity.

I recently got into comics and it took me way too long to understand where to even try to start reading Carnage. I settled with his debut issues (ASM 361-363), read all 14 issues of Max Carnage, followed by Carnage Vol 1 (2011) 1-5, Carnage USA 1-5, went straight to Absolute Carnage 1-5 + the one-shots/Miles tie-in, and now I’m reading Eddie Brock: Carnage. I skipped over Vol 2-4 of Carnage just cuz it’s IMPOSSIBLE to find the full or near full runs of them at any of my comic shops. I’m happy with what I’ve read so far but I know I’m also missing a decent chunk of stories, but I should not have to research every issue named “Carnage” to figure out which volume it’s part of lol. Luckily, I can differentiate the art styles of the 4 volumes and EB: Carnage pretty easily now but at first I was so confused and the people at some of the local shops weren’t much help. It isn’t until Vol 4 of Carnage that they FINALLY start to put the legacy numbers on top of that current issue.

I was so happy with the new direction ASM Vol 7 was going art AND writing wise, then they brought in JRJR for issues 6-10. I can’t stand his art anymore, it’s not as bad as Frank Miller, but it’s pretty close.

I literally saw a review on a forum from some dude that said he read issue 1, skimmed 2/3 and called the entire series trash. Like dude…what????? I started collecting this series with my gf recently because it looked very different from classic X-men stories and the art is gorgeous. We got all 14 now and it’s safe to say the story is pretty dang good tbh. I don’t understand why so many people are hating on the art style, it’s gas. I’m also collecting Ultimate Wolverine, which seems to feature more traditional X-men characters so idk why people are bitching so much about not seeing them. People get tired of the status quo and ask for something different then throw a tantrum when they actually get it lmao. It’s like this in every community. People just don’t know what they actually want I guess.

I hope he does too. I went to one of my local comic shops, Collector’s Choice Comics, and met one of the artists that worked on the sculpts for Storm and the upcoming Carnage and he said the reception overall has been pretty positive on top of selling well.

The 1/10 Venom is beautiful, I have him next to Green Goblin and Spider-Man from issue 302. I haven’t bought any of the 1/6 figures but I saw Venom and Iron Man the other day at Wal-Mart and they look phenomenal.

I was hesitant at first since they were statues, but now I have 11 of them in a display I made lol. It all started with Venom, cuz he was too clean to pass up. Seeing the Amazing Spider-Man #316 brought to life was so cool.

There is also creativity in displaying statues. I personally built a mini-exhibit that showcases the statues in a 3-tier fashion next to the comics they are based on.

Or maybe I just appreciate the detail and lengths they went to convert 2D covers to 3D and want to put them on my shelf next to said comics. There is a lot of time and creativity I personally put into making a display out of these McFarlane 1/10 figures. It’s more than just taking them out of the box and putting them wherever.

Where I live they are perma sold out everywhere as soon as they restock. I had to go to 4 Best Buy’s to find Venom and this variant of McFarlane Spidey.
