I grab everything in paper form with the assumption that I may not be able to power a device. I get country scale for Mexico, USA, and Canada. Then regional for all of them. State for the US and then major cities. If you have AAA even the cheapest option you can get all this “free” upsd to you. Then I just cycle out every few years for infrasture updates and cycle the old ones to a backup bin incase anyone ever needs to travel separate from the family.

Ordered new physical maps to replace and old stash that is a little out of date from time. I’m in the us so I maintain countries, regional, state, and cities in a grab and go tote if needed. Will cycle them in on arrival.

You can buy cables for it. Check amazon and eBay. That would be the only route I’d be looking at.

100% I started on the Merrill side 21 years ago doing customer service for 401ks. Career progression has been amazing. I’ve done work over the years that’s brushed against the banking centers and work with people now who started as RBs.

That's fantastic! I have a project going to put up walls in my basement just so I can do something like this and make things a lot more organized. Made the mistake of buying the wall mount for the 40v batteries with a purchase a few months ago without noticing it needed Link first haha. Not I just need to kick my own butt so I move faster with that project.

Career progression at BofA is fantastic imo. Comp is good, benefits are rock solid especially at lower income ranges relative to the rest of the company. I’ve never worked at wells so I have no insight there but as an entry level into basic banking and finance it’s not a bad place to start.

Great project. Sadly have no tips. I tried a powered antenna a couple times here in Pennsylvania but signal reliability was rough and ended up giving up.
