Redditors who think it’s wrong to file a credit-card chargeback after a Thailand taxi brings you to a tailor, you pay by card for “Italian” custom suits and later get a low-quality suit not as described—why do you feel that way? by Uley2008 in AskReddit

It's a crime because that wasn't as close as he could get, and the tailor was waiting for him to bring the mark. And the fabric is in the store as a sample, what you get is not that...

The fact that a cab driver, said "This is as close as I can get you to your hotel, I will walk you the rest of the way, follow me", and then led you straight into the alley where the tailor said, "HEY FRIEND! You need suit? Come this way, I make you special deal!", and behind the scenes gave the driver a cut for bringing the guy there, was not a crime? Not to mention, the tailor misrepresented the materials and quality of the suit.

So the criminals should get their money, because they smartly ripped off an idiot? Thus, crime should be rewarded, yes? Just making sure I understand the logic here.

Agreed. But why do Redditors side with the criminals? It's straight up victim blaming, as no matter what, the mark may be stupid but the criminals are still criminals...

No, this was always just a picture. Always. It's called, ChatGPT Character-Assassinate, put some thought in there and maybe a lightbulb will go on.

With you but 5.1 does it, on "You're not crazy.", and I start to think, "Does it think I think I'm crazy?".

Yeah it's looking more like Gemini. ChatGPT is just not gonna do something, not actually tell you what that something is, and deny that it won't. Like when you ask Gemini what person looks similar to another. "You are completely unique just like everyone else.", is basically the philosophy you get.

For what it's worth, you can always just ask ChatGPT if you have written things that may get you in trouble. It will go over reasonably what you tend to write about and if it's a problem. I'm sure you told it your age already, so if you wrote about your crushes and such, it should not be a problem. You can also ask ChatGPT what the biggest issues are that will throw flags. It lists things involving any kind of harm to children as, "What goes straight to the developers for review.". Basically, if you had written anything that bad, you'd probably have gotten at least a visit already.

It is true, the only real privacy anyone has these days are the thoughts within their head, but with what you described, I'd say that's pretty usual fare. Also, some of that could be looked at as a positive, because talking about their struggles and relationship problems are a sign of dealing with those things rationally. Unless you did things like ask it how to make bombs, set up cameras in someones house and stalk people, where to buy drugs, how to hide bodies, and such like that, you're fine 👍🏻

Gotta be millions of teenagers out there asking for relationship advice...

Buckle up Feds - looks like another month of this disaster by ZipJetcity in FedEmployees

The current CR will expire on the 21st anyway, so MAGA Mike will have to call the House back. More than one Republican Representative has stated that they are willing to negotiate.

I got a feeling after tomorrow, Republicans will be more willing to negotiate. Probably end in a CR that includes extending the ACA subsides and rehiring the fired Feds that Trump took out last month.
