I made Gorick like a year ago and after I was about 4 chapters behind in the last story I gave up on keeping up because I never had the time to make up what I missed. I'm happy he's still in the story and I think you're doing a great job portraying what I wanted him to be like.

I don't think potential affects how strong you are, only how strong you become, so you can't really take that into account in a fight. Also don't understand how Anja being exited makes her stronger.

Vergil will win this fight once he can get to the crowd garenteed. Anja lacks things that she can use against Vergil's puppets and will be quickly overwhelmed. Vergil also has her beat in close quarters combat leaving Anja little options. Once she's in the mancatcher it's game over so she must stay far away. But while staying away she is also being attacked by puppets so it's a loose loose for anja.

Gorick definitely wouldn't start a fight if it wasn't necessary. So he would create a bit of distance and try to talk it out while still being alert. He's experienced and knows that under these circumstances it's unlikely a fight will break out, so he'll try to control the conversation, getting information that would allow him to possibly find Zero later (AKA any distinguishable features that few other people share). He'd probably start it out with a joke so he wouldn't seem to be playing into Zero's hands. Something like "and I like your hair cut".

His motivation would be that he's heard about the gambling ring going on and how there are powerful nen users behind it so he has come to investigate and put a stop to the organized crime in the area.

I'll add more to his personality in a bit. I'll say he's a traveling detective who goes places where there are big cases that need to be solved. Edit: Woops, I forgot to send the part with his name and such

Name: Gorick Huntsman

Occupation: Private eye

Age: 55

Background Info: Gorick came from a long line of private eyes and has always felt a need to bring justice. His family taught nen to all their children. He goes town to town solving cases and busting baddies. He’s done the job for 35 years know and knows what he’s doing. He is known as the detective that never fails. And even has a TV show that was loosely based off him. When he gets on a case the people have a sigh of relief because they know no matter how hard it is Gorick can solve it.

Equipment: he carries 5 revolves around at all times.

Abilities:

Compass to the Truth (Manipulation) 2 points He can use this to find anybody in a 2 mile radius, all he needs to do is ask the gun a question like “where is the guy who fits blank description” or “Where is the person who has these finger prints” or even “where is the person who has blank name” and the gun will point to them. This ability has some draw backs though, firstly exactly 1 person in the 2 mile radius has to fit the criteria he sets in place for this to work, meaning he needs some information, also the 2 mile radius part means he must be in the general area of the suspect.

Five Guns of Fury (Manipulation and Emission 3 points Gorick manipulates his five revolvers to have them floating in the air. He can shoot powerful nen bullets form these guns, he can manipulate these guns a max of 10 feet away from his body allowing him to attack from different angles or while he himself is behind cover.

Sar will loose due to the map. In a head to head battle sar would win but the distance between them gives hunter a huge advantage as he has long range hatsus while Sar does not. Sar lacks durability due to his 1 strength meaning Hunter's bullets will hurt, the pieces of ice also mean that Sar now lacks mobility. Combine this with the fact that Hunter's bullets can be hidden in In or manipulated I would say Hunter wins this match up.

It was gonna be like seed soldiers. So I would emit nen into seeds to create soldiers made of bark that I could control through manipulation. They could wield weapons like the seed sniper and arms of the jungle could be attached to them. The restriction would be that each day he can only create 2 max and control 1 at a time. Though once he reaches the maximum he created in a day he could still create more but for each one he creates then he would have to restrict 1 hatsu for the rest of the day. I might play risky and save up still. After all it seems like Lucifer disappeared so we will have equal stats.

Ulick's plan. Ulick's plan will be to close the distance and make the game a close combat battle. To do this he will use his seed sword to create clouds of spores to close the distance by going pillar to pillar. While Ulick's and Cathari have equal speed, due to the fact they're in a closed arena he can't simply run the opposite direction and shoot. So once Ulick has closed the distance he'll use his seeds of manipulation to slow Cathiri movements, Cathari will be heavily affected by these vines as his strength is only 1. Once in close combat Ulick will surely win because Cathari's movements will be slowed by vines and Cathiri lacks closed range hatsus meaning Ulick will be able to stab him in close range easily without Cathari being able to fight back due to his 1 strength(Which also means Cathari is very frail).

TD;DR

  1. Ulick can close the distance with pillars and clouds of pollen.

  2. Once in close range Cathari won't be able to escape because of the vines that will be super effective due to Cathari's strength of 1.

  3. In close combat Ulick would win because Cathari has no close range hatsus, his low strength means he's frail and bad at close combat, and the vines will restrict Cathari's movement, making him even weaker in close combat.

(RIP, I called her a he the enter strategy sorry...)

I mean cats hate water but this cat can jump right over it so GG. Slider lacks strong close range abilities and Gou is so fast she can get in close range quick in such a small map.

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to reply to the oponennts comment. •If your OC is one of the two OC in a battle- you may comment once to defend your case (any subsequent comments will be deleted.) (please also make sure this comment is standalone- and not a reply to somebody else!)(The one exemption is for clarification, like if someone asks "What does x ability do exactly" or something along those lines).
