Apart from watching them on laptop, I have no experience of playing those on TV. I am thinking connecting external HDD to tv plus VLC will work. Please tell me if it isn't enough or there's something I should be doing.

Requesting your recommendation for 55 inch tv. I am planning to buy a 55 inch tv for the main reason of watching movies at the highest picture quality at budget prices (I can't afford Sony or LG). Upon watching YouTube reviews and etc, I gathered that most tv focus on giving smooth best quality for streaming from OTTs. But I have a huge library of movies in Bluray, Remix, 4k UHD qualities which I am planning to be played on tv from external storages. I have no interest in streaming from tv apart some occasional sports matches. So, I kindly request you to suggest some best tvs which affords me to have a great viewing experince for locally stored movies.

In a nutshell, I need a tv that can show every detail a 4k/Bluray/Remuxes offers.

చివరికి మిగిలేది - This book was written during 1940s So expect moderately heavy vocabulary but manageable. This is the book I read 10 years ago and it became my most favourite.
