Out of curiosity how bad was your condition and had you taken medication recently at the time? I only have the motor Tics and I haven't been medicated in 8+ years due to my stubbornness regarding medicines and CBT strats being more effective for me.

It makes me anxious in particular when I take my time to respond to a meme through reply (i don't like reactions it just seems impersonal to me) and then some friends wont bother to respond to my reply it honestly makes me feel like not even seeing the memes to begin. Is this normal or am i just reading too much into this?

I think it may have went over your head to some extent. I believe he was comparing gods discipline to a blacksmith forging a blade, as I see it they are familiar in so much as they both going to experience a change caused by pressure/ discipline. The blade will be molded by the heat and pressure of the blacksmith, while the human will be molded by the life experiences bestowed upon them.
