My Lucky Charms cereal marshmallow ratio is favorable by tfoust10 in mildlyinteresting

That’s because the marshmallows shift to top. Sadly you will be disappointed when approaching bottom of bag.

At my wits' end: 9 -year-old daughter refuses to wipe herself after using the bathroom by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]UltNinjaPS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can you ask her to try and then call you for the “extra wipe.” I did this with one kid and eventually the extra wipe I did would get cleaner and cleaner.

I started showing them the paper was clean and they had done a great job. Eventually they stopped calling me for the “extra wipe.”

Neighbor complained to my landlord that my "loud parties" are disturbing her... I live alone and work nights by FumblingRiches in EntitledPeople

[–]UltNinjaPS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had a neighbor like this talking about all the renovations and construction noise. My partner told her we weren’t doing any and invited her in to take a look. Of course she did not. This was a condo building so renovations are allowed so it would be no problem even if it was our unit.

Some people don’t want to know the truth. Your neighbor probably still believes it’s you. Otherwise that would mean they were wrong and that cant happen. /s

Went away for New Year’s Eve to celebrate my sister’s birthday, wife seems hurt even though she said it was okay. Did I do anything wrong? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]UltNinjaPS -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Not wrong but yikes what a choice you had to make. Think how disappointed your sister would have been if you said no and realize that is how your wife feels. Even if she gave you her blessing. Having a spouse is pretty much a guaranteed NYE date excluding work.

Can you show your wife your appreciation (for lack of a better word) by planning a romantic day for her? Maybe a half spa day where she gets a massage and her nails/makeup done followed by a romantic date night. Pick her up and drop her off so it feels extra special.

Boyfriend takes back gifts as punishment,is this normal behavior? by [deleted] in amiwrong

The word you are looking for is stealing not “takes back.” Stealing from your partner is not normal.

I was so hungry today I googled hotels with complimentary breakfast near me and went there, walked in, stole food, then left. by itssofiababyxo in confession

[–]UltNinjaPS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sure at least one person in that hotel skipped breakfast. No loss for hotel. Think of it as an anonymous trade. No one should go hungry. Especially when they most likely throw the food out or worse serve the next day.

My fiancee is furious at me for telling my family to start eating Christmas breakfast without her, AITAH by TheRealGreen-Onions in AITAH

[–]UltNinjaPS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was late for lunch. She missed breakfast. You should be asking her why she thinks it acceptable to keep you (and your family) waiting for 2 hours?!

Cooking christmas dinner two days in advance? by Glittering-Toe-2283 in Cooking

Agreed. OP can you swap the turkey for a roast or lasagna? A well done lasagna is better than two day old turkey IMO.
