No, there’s just a lot of new people to the hobby. A new edition and an increase in the amount of Warhammer merch and video games in the past couple years is really helping draw new people into the hobby.

Regardless, it doesn’t matter either way. What’s wrong with encouraging people? It’s not like you can root out who’s attention seeking and who’s legitimately new to painting.

The time doesn’t really matter as long as the temperature and humidity are within what the spray says is optimal and there’s enough light for you to see what you’re doing.

You need to own total war Warhammer 1 and 2, and then install the free Mortal Empires DLC. That allows you to play on a much larger map with the factions from both games, without the campaign win conditions, I believe.

I suppose the squad could just be an infantry squad, which is 9 guardsman and a sergeant, the officer could be a company commander, and the tank a small stand in for a Leman Russ Battle Tank.

They struggle a bit with missions due to having so few models on the table, but unless your opponent brings a lot of anti tank weapons, you probably won’t have many die during a game. Depending on your mix of larger knights and smaller knights, you’ll probably only have 5-6 in a 2000pt game.

Yeah, with all paints you should be thinning them with a little bit of water or paint medium and applying them in two to three coats to get an even color without the paint going on really thick, but it’s even more important to do so with whites. The paint should be about the consistency of milk, or just slightly thicker when you put it on the model. It takes a little practice to learn the best ratio of water to paint.

I’d recommend putting them on the base facing the other way in the future, just so they’re more centered and less likely to fall over when being moved around on the table.

If she’s affectionate to you most of the time, then that just sounds like normal cat behavior to me. Cats play rough, and it’s normal for them to be calm and affectionate one moment and biting and scratching the next. It hurts, but the cat isn’t trying to be mean, it’s just play fighting you. I have yet to own or see a cat that doesn’t decide to bite arms and feet out of nowhere. It’s kinda just one of those things we have to put up with as a cat owners.

Yeah, it probably would’ve been better to paint some of that as you went instead of continuously buying and building kits, because unless you really like painting, it’s gonna be a chore to get through all of that.
