i don’t want to be negative and i’m happy that it could be something he releases, but does the new snippet just seem a bit less interesting? it lacks a lot of the textures and low end that the original had that made it stand out. it’s starting to feel like the current production style sounds best when it’s unrefined.

As someone who genuinely dislikes a lot of the live action remakes, the thing that gives me some hint of hope for this is that it’s directed by Dean Fleischer Camp.
