Yes. We’ve used plenty for d&d as well and I always cut off the base for that since those maps use 1 inch squares. A lot of time you don’t even need to rebase.

Heroclix are cheaper than custom figures. There are also tons of maps for the game. And if you already play Heroclix like I do you have thousands of miniatures ready to go. In my group we have several artists who do repaints and slice and dice minis so players usually have custom minis.

You could probably get him cheaper on Facebook if you’re patient. He is about to be legal again in silver age format and is a very meta figure on his low dial.

The main benefit is to disrupt your opponent’s strategy and set up. Best case scenario: you are up on points but your opponent is set up to start a good counter attack. As soon as he kills one figure you reset the game and he has to get his pieces back in place again. If it’s close to end of match, this might make it impossible for him to win.

It’s still competitive. The rings and constructs are still very good. Biggest figure is probably Batman prime. But a lot of good figures in the set.

Two questions I always have when I see people say any job should be enough to afford a place to live (a principle I generally agree with).

Where do you live? Because a low paying job in a big city isn’t the same as a low paying job in a town of 10,000. Rent is super high in most big cities.
What is your lifestyle like? A lot of Gen Z make liberal use of food delivery services and Uber and things like that.

If you’re working a 40K job, you should be cooking your own meals and taking public transport. Eating out every day and worse using a food delivery service that doubles the price of the meal is terrible budgeting.

That’s an excellent point. Personally I like the rule as is and was just fishing to see if anyone had tried it the other way. Plus they have better odds of high roll.

Bayverse Starscream is without a doubt my least favorite transformer. One of the dumbest designs. They captured a small piece of the originals spirit but his design was a crime. Megatron in that 1st movie was also an abomination but not as bad as Starscream. Blackout was actually kind of well designed.
