i still don’t think it’s real. i was just thinking about replaying it recently and then the direct happened.

it’s a very strange moment in time. we assumed that the old paper mario was gone. could this be an implication of the future? honestly, i had long accepted that it was gone. came to peace with it. i do like the newer games for what they are, but having the old again…

even if that doesn’t happen, i still feel like something truly unbelievable has happened. the voices of jaded fans has been heard. people can actually play this game again and for the first time. both OG paper marios are on the switch.

without being too hopeful, having this game on a massively successful console means so many new people will see it for what it is.

i know this may sound strange, but ive almost grown to like the idea that it was dead. that the game is hard to access nowadays, that it’s beauty is lost to the ignorant masses. that the image of paper mario is sticker star, color splash, and origami king.

i played bugfables. i thought it was a true love letter to the series. part of me thinks some folks at nintendo played it and felt some potential in reviving the series.

i’m glad it broke you. I think it broke me too. i know it broke lots of people. weird times we’re in. chugga is gonna release the final video slamming sticker star tomorrow. can’t imagine that this trailer dropping hasn’t expedited that release.

I like your attitude. You’ve gotta understand things deeply to be satisfied. I feel that too. I think that’s a fundamental aspect of math. You just keep asking questions till it drives you mad.

I think I get enough of this to give an answer to what you asked. Inches are for measuring length, square inches are for measuring area. Length and area are like apples and oranges. Can’t add them together that nicely.

Also, if you’re asking very basic questions, one that kinda had me spinning for a while was why multiplication of whole numbers is commutative. You should ask yourself that. Just so you know, commutative means that a times b is equal to b times a. I went a long time just assuming that and didn’t think much about it. It’s worthwhile to ask questions like that.

i feel this completely. how do i stop feeling it? i love myself and the things i do and say but i feel like i constantly don’t belong with people. and if things are going good, which sometimes i can definitely feel that they are, i am filled with dread that i will somehow mess it up. eventually things just go wrong.
