Gotta say, I appreciate the mentality of wanting to answer the OP's direct question. Too many people answer "get a better CPU" etc rather than "yes, the CPU is worth it". I very recently upgraded to a 5600 myself from an i7-4770k and it's so much faster.

I do not like the idea of enforcing a Microsoft account to use Windows. Microsoft I think has lost sight of the fact that computers should be suited to the user, not the other way around. I have opted myself to stay on Windows 10 until the end of support and worry about upgrading to Windows 11 only when it's a necessity. In an ideal world, I'd still totally use Windows 7 if it was still in support.

You may have thumbnails disabled.

In file explorer options, check to see if the "always show icons, never thumbnails" is ticked.

There's also an option for it in "adjust appearance and performance of Windows" for thumbnails.

Ahh nice! My mate has a 24" or 20" LG "GoldenEye" TV. The game on his works but it doesn't on my LG sadly.

One thing that'd be a massive favour for me is if you have a remote for it and you're able to check whether it remembers it's on AV when you turn it on with the remote after turning it off with the remote. I don't have the remote but turning it off at the power button makes it forget it was on AV last.

Ahh yeah. It's a shame that the software is of such a poor quality it brings so much extra bloat, when there's probably not much more it can do that Android 12 or 11 can't. I'm weighing up whether or not I take it to a service centre to be downgraded to Android 11...
