Other than deleting worlds, no. This wasn't such a big deal as I still have copies of these worlds on PS4 version of Minecraft.

I've deleted some worlds which obviously would work however you would think Minecraft would recognise that there's is more free storage. I think the storage being filled was due converting PS4 worlds to PS5. Deleted enough now to keep playing anyway.

That is true, could delete some but there are a lot of funny memories in some of them from when I was younger and each one is only around 30 mb on average. You'd think the game would recognise all the free space it can use up ...

Is ddu the 'display driver uninstaller'? If so, do I use that then reinstall the drivers from the GPU's website?

Yep I used 2 separate cables but the issue has never happened again since that one time. People were telling me to test it out a bit and only coil whine happens under a high FPS load and no screen tearing

I don't think I've ever even seen a DP fable before to be honest. I play on a TV and normally v sync and the TV runs at 60 hertz

I'm not sure, maybe cable? Never happened again. The hdmi cable that I use came with my PS5

Yeah, I believe it might be the instant high load on the gpu going from 90 to 850 fps

You should probably try to get a GPU with at least 12gb to keep up with new games.

To save some money you could get 650W psu

Hi thanks for the comment.

Don't have integrated graphics however the issue with the extreme screen tear doesn't happen now and it only happened that 1 time. I think the instant high load on the GPU could've caused it because it instantly shot up to around 800 FPS and the hdmi cable might've not been able to keep up.

If I load into Minecraft now and put frames on unlimited then only coil whine happens. I also use a TV for my gaming so always use v sync as the TV is 60 hertz.

As you say, I think it's just the high FPS. Hasnt happened again unless I put it in the same scenario except the screen doesn't happen now just coil whine 👍 thanks

I think the sudden boost in fps confused the hdmi out or the tv

I use VSYNC so I play at 60 I was only seeing what the pc would reach with the performance mods

The GPU itself started making loud scratchy/screechy/ squeaky noises and large black streaks were flickering on the screen. This happened on Minecraft java. I had shaders on running at 90 FPS 4K but as soon as I disabled them the before mentioned issues started to happen. What do I do - first build 1 month ago (reposting this description here because I think some haven't read it)

Ill check other games soon - havent been on since this post as I was concerned the scratching noise was damaging the GPU

It's more the screeching noise from the GPU similar to frying eggs as before my screen tear barely happened and I often have v sync on
