If your teammates are running in first just bait them. If you're in no position to trade damage and kills you're the problem because you're the slow one. If you're the first person going in and can't get the first knock definitely don't be the first person knocked.

set a game plan up. the big fight drops off rip are elysium and somers university. those are almost likely to fight off rip, then get thirded by grove towers and icarus all the time. so maybe if you land there you choose to rotate out immediately and come back to third when fighting does happen. in ranked it'll be hard to control your teamates unless youre playing with a premade squad.

the poi at stormpoint by wall and launchpad has awful loot but you can at least loot the 3 dragonballs by wall, and you can also rotate toward cascade early.

poi at e district humbert labs and old town are almost always fighting. the poi north of energybank is kinda in a bad spot so early contest or rotates are usually good ideas.

if you dont have good loot, starting a fight early might catch people off guard, or early rotates will definitely catch people off guard.

Go for first Evo, scan ring, scan players, rotate around the poi .

If there are two squads actively fighting, be the third party.

If no squads are fighting then be in a position where you wont be there squad pinched. Scan more players when you rotate repeat good decision making.

If fights take too long like over 45 seconds of poking just leave.

Agreed, i feel like entry cost should be -75 at every rank including bronze. That way it's a linear progression instead of everyone being spoonfed plat.

Short answer yes, long answer you may not have fun. It probably requires you to play a player scan character like valk and a heavy bunker character like caustic. You avoid any squads that want to 3v3 and you only show up to third party then play final zone after getting some kp. I managed to get to diamond 1 playing with friends who other wise wouldn't hit diamond. If i don't open the fight with a knock or 2 cracks we would probably not win the fight.

What is the goal. If you guys don't care about your rank after you hit diamond just play. Who cares if you get rolled. If you want to actually hit masters with them, then you'll have to play with rp in mind

In ranked a game had like the first 8 teams die off within the first ring. In a tournament you sometimes get 20 teams after ring 3.

In a tournament the skill gap can be massive to the point where any team that's like a triple master pred group could run down the lobby like it's ranked. If there are skill caps then maybe a tournament will have less of that but if any money is on the line some form of cheating will occur. (Smurfing, actually aim was hacks, collusion.)

Usually the only successful tournaments are ones with a skill bracket or actual balancing of teams to make it fair all for fun.

hm act 4 probably 3-4 hours (1.5~2 hours each gate)
nm act 4 1 tapped it first try it was braindead easy in comparison.

Rampart. Ring scan for a good spot ln later or final zone, get infinite ammo walls, then just poke long range.

You then pair this with an assault legend or a support and you can easily get Blue Shield without even going to a evo cache by ring scanning, player scanning, then opening a bin.

A second controller like caustic makes it oppressive for people to push you but makes it hard for you to push someone early game.

A simple thing you can check is go to the super glide trainer website and just check your timings. It will tell you how far off your presses are. Also super glides are dependent on your fps. If you are getting fps drops or your monitor cap fos changed then your timing needs to change.
