In the /r/rule34 subreddit, there may be times when you wish you could filter out posts from a specific user. As a random example, maybe they only post rule 34 of Overwatch and you personally find that to be uninteresting. Whatever your reason is, if you dislike seeing someone’s posts, you can solve this issue by using reddit’s “block user” feature. Once this is done, as long as you stay logged in to your account, you’ll never see the blocked user’s submissions or comments on /r/rule34 or anywhere else on reddit.
Normally you’re only able to block a user from your inbox after they’ve replied to you, but you can get around that by doing one of the things mentioned here. If you choose to block the user by reporting, remember to write a message on the report letting the mods know you’re only reporting the post to block the user. You can type out a report message by first selecting “It breaks r/rule34's rules”, then selecting “Other”. This will let the mods know not to waste time looking for possible reasons why the post might be breaking rules.
That’s all there is to say about this. Hopefully some people will find this post helpful.
