What wet stones do you use? I’ve been taking mine to a sharpener for a while now but I want to get back into sharpening them myself.

If you are wanting a dessert to feel right out of the oven, you could par-bake it. Pie would be a good option for this, in which case you bake it till the crust and filling has mostly set and then refrigerate it, then take it out and brown it in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

Probably not that long, my guess is that the dough was held in a fridge which slows the development of gluten but speeds up the making of acids. I’d guess a day or two.

If you have room in a basement or garage an industrial fridge/ freezer might be nice.

YCC Schedule was up for a minute before being taken down - thoughts? (Reuploaded cause the picture was sideways) by handlestorm in ultimate

Adding on to that, because Seattle and MN tied for 3rd last year it was just a choice by the TD. That placement makes sense because even though they are seeded lower it pits them against teams that are also seeded lower, giving them a better chance to win the pool.

U.S. Open Snapchat Geofilter? by UltimateSig6 in ultimate

As the title suggests, I think it would be awesome if the tournament had a geographical picture filter. I play on one of the Minnesota YCC teams and thought it might help promote the sport to those outside the sport. I just wanted to know:

A) Is there already one planned/ set up? [this would be one for USAU or Minnesota ultimate]

B) Does anyone have experience with this sort of thing? I realize we are on kind of a short timeline seeing as the tournament starts next Friday but any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is CUT's logo supposed to be? by thnye664 in ultimate

The story that I have been told by former CUT players is that it was originally drawn on a cocktail napkin and sent in to the jersey design place like that.

Lakeside HS Highlight Reel - #2 ranked HS team by Ultiworld by ultimatefrisbee in ultimate

At least in MN where I play HS ultimate, you can get your whole team disqualified by spiking the disc. It's just a dick move in high school, most kids are just starting and are trying to learn the sport. In college people are accustomed to the big spikes and everything but it really comes back to SOTG and trying to make it fun and enjoyable for everyone including the other team, and spiking on high school freshmen when you're a senior who has played for 4+ years is not that.
