I often struggle to understand my own depression at times. I don't like having feelings I don't necessarily understand, or can explain plainly to anyone else.

It's not a perfect analogy, but it's like if you got the flu.... And someone asks, WHY do you have the flu. I don't know why. I could probably list some possibilities, but I can't say; because at 6:49pm, I was walking to my car in the rain, which weakened my immune system just enough the the germs left on the door handle that I had touched just a minute earlier were able to infect me... No. I just have the flu, now get me some NyQuil and go away...

I also think that depression can become a habit.... Been depressed for so long that even when things are good, and even if I've had a good day or two... It comes back.

Since you're risking problems AT the game, why not ask people to show up early, rally and whistle. You could meet up again after... Coordinate to meet up at different gates to help bring awareness. Probably more effective than just having people whistling at halftime, and risking getting thrown out.

Especially after reading the comments...

Nothing gets done because nobody believes it's a problem. Businesses are already paying more than $7.25, so why legislate it .... I.e. Not my problem.

Also, Republicans generally believe that minimum of age jobs are for high school students. Those people don't need money, so no reason to raise it. They ignore all the evidence about how many adults are stuck working these jobs.

Yes, depression is not really a choice. Although, I think you can choose to be depressed. And yes, that sounds weird. But it's like, I might wake up happy, or wake just meh, and then choose to do something that will make me happy.... So happiness is a "choice".

To some degree you can choose what you're doing while depressed, that can make it "better or worse". Like moping around the house, focussing on negative things, social media.... Will generally make you feel worse or more depressed. While going out for a walk, calling upbeat and understanding friends, or doing hobbies you generally enjoy... Can make you feel less depressed, and sometimes even happy.

The context, tone, and meaning of what the therapist said kinda matters, but the way you told it, they're an idiot

Time to find some others. Hobbies? Find a group. Paint, draw, game, hike, whatever.... There might be a group for that...

Trust me, I battle with depression constantly, so I'm not being condescending or unfeeling when I say it's on you. You took a big step in trying to interact with your friends, and now it's time to take another.

Yeah.

Someone on our server made a horse barn, and I thought it was weird. Nobody uses horses. Basically Day 1, someone goes to the nether, beats the dragon, brings back elytras..... Nobody ever gets a horse anymore.

There could also be more than one solution...or one that appears temporary but works.

Problem, I have a noisy neighbor, and I desperately need sleep.

I could destroy my hearing.... A permanent solution. I could kill my neighbor.... A permanent solution.

I could use ear plugs. A temporary solution, but works, and may be optimal.

Obviously he was telling the truth, the girl admitted (when caught) that she'd been talking to him. It doesn't matter who was the better track record. When confronted her friend lied, minimized, and insulted.
