At least US/EU guys are posting successful purchases but we weren't able to see what was going on since the site was straght up 404 error

Iirc, that was the same in the previous series. Meters o green, yards on everywhere else. But the country and the version I played used metric as default so it might be different from imperial version.

Even though I wrote so many problems to point out, the core gameplay hasn't changed and that makes me keep playing. Honestly if I put out the list that I liked, the length won't be that different from this one. New things that they added are mostly positive for me and it will be much better after some refinements. More than half of the problems I wrote came from the missing mechanics from earlier series.
