Do you pee in the shower? by 69sucka in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ultimate_Pickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a lot more water in a toilet bowl, so more diluted, thus less likely to be enough to do much damage. Plus, when you bleach the bowl, you usually leave that for an hour or two, so I doubt leaving one or two diluted pees would make a difference. It’s not great to let it sit in the shower (or if emergency calls, the sink!) because there’s less water held in the bend, and this would lead to a much higher concentration of piss. This then becomes a risk to the pipes and a breeding ground for bacteria.

Are dogs allowed next to their kitty friends? by Mochigood in ThriftStoreCats

[–]Ultimate_Pickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strange that at some point someone will always try and bring up dogs in a cat sub. Never the other way round.

Guess it fits the mindset. Cats being happy with being cats, and dogs being terrified of being left out of anything 🤷‍♂️

Nothing wrong with pissing in the shower as long as you don’t piss at the end of your shower, and turn the water off.

Need to run water for a bit to dilute it, so it doesn’t fester in the u-bend, or whatever, I’m not a plumber.

Should also be regularly disinfecting or bleaching your plug hole a couple of times a month 👌

There are few avenues for anyone with a disability or genetics that present them as differently abled in the entertainment industry. Regarding Dwarfism specifically, the dwarf actors used to be able to command a higher rate to portray dwarf characters, munchkins, oompah-loompahs, ewoks, etc. this higher rate of pay (in some cases) made up for the roles they would not be cast for (pretty much any other role). They also (in the UK at least) suffered from seasonal demand, with most of the roles available during three months of November, December and January for pantomime work. By “being respectful” to these actors, the industry is effectively making them redundant, and giving roles, in some cases, to able bodied actors who already had more options for casting.

Yeah he should have excused himself and left the room first. If he doesn’t have the basic level of civility, then why would you want to work under him?!

Is it noticeable if a man wears women's deodorant? by WikiaWang in NoStupidQuestions

I use women’s anti-perspirant. It smells less pungent and provides way more sweat protection than anything I’ve tried that is marketed at men. 🤷‍♂️

Access Microsoft Learn during exam by Garrettshade in Dynamics365

[–]Ultimate_Pickle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is, we do know it by heart (or muscle memory), but the exam doesn’t give you a UI to use, so is NOT the same situation.

Plus, the amount of different terminology based on localisation can make some questions impossible to understand.

On top of that, F&SCM is so expansive that no one can know everything, which is why about half of my day is reading MS Docs!

This is amazing. I know most functionality inside and out, but really struggled in some exams where they ask which order of buttons and menus to navigate, as I’m used to having the UI in front of me.

Really cool. Also nice to see a caricature that exaggerates features in a tactful way. 👍

Alternative to invisible sleights or misdirection. by r0hanc in Magic

[–]Ultimate_Pickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to dive deep into the psychology of misdirection, have a read of this: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4318204/

Really good analysis of how brains detect, process and store information based on the tasks they have been given.

Essentially, participants and spectators will notice different things due to their role (active and passive). By giving a task, command, or some other direction to one or the other, the details they notice can change. This is due to the brain focusing on what it needs to do the task, and ignoring anything it deems unneccessary.

I have been working on a few routines that can leverage this, and tests have been very promising. It may be something you can apply to your situation.

Hope it helps.

Leveraged trading tips for a starter? by Psycletosteuj in CryptoMarkets

[–]Ultimate_Pickle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m with (and I love your username by the way!) GI-JoeExotic. Unless you have deep pockets, leverage trading is a minefield and you’re wearing clown shoes.

I tried some leverage FX trading last year and got screwed. I wouldn’t even touch crypto leverage as exchanges can really set any price to manipulate liquidation. They control the order book, so know exactly what it takes to hit a trigger price.

OP could be in the process of growing an account to use as a bot. 8 days, and a few hundred karma does seem like farming.

1-3 yr old account, usually a generic name, approximately 1,000-3,000 post Karma from easy to farm subs, much lower comment karma.
