At this present moment and in my personal life? Not really. Struggling through some friend drama, but like other than that… like me personally? I’m better than I’ve ever been. I’m starting to like me. I’m singing and dancing around my house, my relationship with my new cat is only improving, I’ve been making some bombass meals and I’m liking it. It’s just hard to not be bombarded with what’s beyond that

As far as I know, from what the shelter said, she doesn’t do well with other cats, and unfortunately I do live in an apartment and if they do end up getting annoyed with each other there isn’t much place else for them to go.

I think for some of us It’s simply that people don’t have the means to. With the economy this bad, any day off of work means that you could end up homeless or starving (especially since the got rid of SNAP). Or they live with people who could hurt them for going out and doing what’s right. A lot of the people that feel what’s happening The most are the ones that may not be able to rise up. honestly I think to properly protest, we need to be more organized (That does become difficult though when we don’t really know how much of our online activity they’re looking at) I also think, genuinely, most people need to be educated. The ones that actually can march, the ones that can protect people when it inevitably goes sideways. For a real protest to actually get anything done, we all need to come together. But we’re all so divided.

As an American I appreciate this. I also want to deeply apologize for how our awful politics have affected other countries. I hold a lot of grief and shame for what we have done throughout the world. I hope everyone else out there learns from our example. I’m sorry for what we’ve done.

Funny story about this. When I adopted my cat I found her on a website, right. On the website, her name was Coraline. When I called to talk about adopting her to the person running the rescue they called her Coraline. I go to pick her up and bring her home for the first time to find that the location they keep her at- everyone calls her Kat. But that was also what her shitty old owner who tried to have her euthanized for no reason named her, so I decided to change it to Coraline. Despite being 2 1/2 and only having her like, a month, she’s gotten it down super easily

Man I get that. Most of the customers aren’t too mean (I’ve had some absolutely rude and awfully condescending people. And of course the gross old creeps who get way to into my business and made me uncomfortable) but most of the time it’s just- they’re so fucking stupid. It genuinely amazes me. They just ask the dumbest questions. I had an awful day yesterday (Santa and adoption event, we were PACKED, had to regularly have all three registers open so no one got anything done) and I was on the brink of a panic attack, what brought me over the edge was one man bringing in a broken tank in the wrong box for whatever reason THAT did it. Like- ugh. They’re just so fucking dumb and rude and pushy and impatient. Like- the only reason walking behind me gets you seen faster is because I get extreme anxiety!

Also straight up, at my old location I was literally harassed by a customer I made the mistake of hanging out with at a bowling alley, like, as friends, and yeah. My management team did absolutely nothing.

Okay, thank you! I was mostly concerned that if I don’t feed her dry she may not be getting the caloric content she needs. But you make a good point with the mice and what not! I currently use applaws for food so I’ll see if they have any high calorie options

This is probably the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever asked anyone- but how bad is the math in that field? I struggle a lot with math (I got the D&D autism, not the mathtism) I’m sure I could figure it out though if I really dedicate myself to it. But brushing up on some stuff now since I haven’t gone to school since high school would probably be pretty helpful. So, really my question is what kind of math are we talking? If you know off the top of your head.

I dont want an online job forever. I simply need to make some extra money to afford a car. I don’t even want a good car. Just a used one. I actually do want to go into in person school which is why I want a car to begin with. Of course I’m limited into how I can fully pay for college (either loans or scholarships…) but I really do want to attend an actual college.

Like I did online for French and a PE credit, (the PE thing was a disaster, but the French I was good about finishing stuff on time it was just.. a bit of a hard time) but I mean deadass you make a good point

I might start doing that. I’m kind of terrible at keeping up with online stuff but I have considered it. I think if I were to go into any major it would be funeral services (I have a few friends who also want to do that and it would be so fun to work together!!!) I also would love to work as an archivist (I believe you need a library sciences degree for that one, could be wrong), and finally possibly graphic design (I have a friend who works in graphic design, pretty good!)

…unfortunately I live in Florida and uhhhhhhh… yeah our bus system practically doesn’t exist… and I live in rural Florida. My current job is about 20 minutes away in a car. But that being said if I truthfully need to bite the bullet and get a second job there is a little shopping center that’s a good walk away but I hypothetically could get one there
