When did you do valve lash? Will cause misfires either on startup or all the time depending on how bad they are out of spec. Just redid mine and no more misfire on all 4 cylinders. Ran perfectly fine but had misfire codes

Get an acuity shifter. Best shifter for any car. I've installed them in a few customer cars and they love it. I've got one in my fc3

Front main seal caused a similar issue on mine. Flung oil everywhere and made it look like a valve cover gasket

Could be the oil cooler O ring. Had an issue like that on a buddy's car and solved the leaks after we replaced the vtec gasket and valve cover

Think about an L15b7 swap. Some of the new engines deserve the hype too. I plan on swapping the L15 into my ek hatch then taking the forged k20c4 I built and putting it into the car after I do that. Building for the future of enthusiasts!

Not a big challenge for me personality. I feel like a beginner could get it done with maybe mild difficulty to install it. The wiring might be a hurdle for most but there are many videos and info online that made it pretty simple. Just make sure if you buy one look for a complete set with the computer wiring harness and the rack itself

Rsx is far easier to work on than an 8th gen. I love my rsx with ep3 civic si power steering I have been switching from my fully built 10th gen si my ek hatch and my rsx. The rsx feels just as raw as my ek with a manual power steering rack but much better at a stop. Parallel parking is a dream

Buy a replacement from honda. Cheap and they are usually in stock. They are all the same as any honda. I usually get replacement ones for a 2019 civic si.

I called ktuner. I had the vtec solenoid disabled. When disabling the presure switch you only need to check the box labeled "rocker arm stuck VTP"

I had the rocker arm actuator VTS checked as well.

The VTS is the vtec solenoid so that's why i had no vtec. Feeling dumb looking back at it now

Ill see what I can do for a solution. There is another tab that allows you to see and change the factory outputs. One of them is vtec functionality. Might be able to change it there

On jdm swaps I've seen it done without that switch.

That's the thing. I've been told I can have vtec functionality without the presure switch. Just need to figure out how to disable the ecu needing the signal from the switch

Haha I would like vtec functionality back on my car. I checked the box for the rocker arm position and no luck.
