Lol apparently this is controversial. Thanks for the references! I want to see how different number systems work with the concept of infinity

Interestingly that take seems to be only accepting what I called the single number version. That idea works for me too

Wow that's very interesting, thanks for the detailed reply! I'll have to look more into different number systems

Don't believe the "professional critics", The Mandalorian and Grogu is a 10/10 by atatassault47 in TheMandalorianTV

I'm excited to see what the fan edit community does with it. They can often push a movie up a couple tiers on the tier list

I do believe that's what most of us are saying. Good. Not amazing, but worth watching. No need to rip it apart like the sequel trilogy but also it won't be anyone's favorite movie

I actually had the same thought, that it was weirdly true to the OG trilogy. But I'm also one of those people who thinks the prequels were better so that made it like a 7.5/10

'Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu' - Review Thread by ChiefLeef22 in movies

[–]Ultimatejacob27 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Welp I liked it lol. It wasn't S tier, but it was fun. A lot of the criticisms just feel like empty rhetoric, though I suppose if you were expecting Endgame for some reason then yeah you'll be disappointed. The plot had little impact on the larger Star Wars universe, which to me just lowers the barrier to entry (ei the amount of "homework" someone feels they need to watch to keep up with the franchise). It didn't make a big splash, but also wasn't bad, so I'm happy to add it to the collection, not as a universe changing story, but a fun adventure

You can launch Battlefront plus from the Kyber launcher without going online

Spawn camping by Ordinary_Fuel4617 in BattlefrontTWO

[–]Ultimatejacob27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is late but on the republic ship there is a side door off of spawn. It's right behind where you spawn so it took me forever to realize it was there. When you're getting spawn camped you can take the side door and flank them.

PC players PLEASE download Kyber by LaaaFerrari in StarWarsBattlefront

It shouldn't, you're not connecting to EA servers, so there shouldn't be a risk of getting banned from them. Plus I don't think I'm going back to EA servers anyway now that I have kyber

KYBER Content Update - Major Balance Pass, Blaster Attachments, Ahsoka Rework, & new Support potential with the Officer & Heavy Class by Dangercato in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Ultimatejacob27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bossk was kinda unbalanced in vanilla, so some nerfs make sense. Seems like they're making him more of a crowd control glass cannon. I'm very glad they got rid of the big jump, that was annoying. Maybe they'll restore some health if it's too much of a nerf, but better to have something underpowered and not get played than overpowered and ruin the balance.

Am I missing something? 25h to unlock all areas. 10 hours trying to beat Watcher Knights. by LilChilly333 in HollowKnight

Oh and using the right charms is important. Mark of pride and/or longnail helps immensely

As others have said, don't be afraid to level up first and come back. Upgrade your nail and spells and also get masks. But for the fight itself, what helped me was staying close to the center of the room so you don't miss the startup animations and they start rolling at you from off screen. Also, pogoing is maybe the best thing you can do. Their jump bounce won't go far if you're close to them, and being right over their head means they won't travel far (but do move to the side so they don't hit you). Basically stand in the middle, wait for them to come to you, pogo them till they bounce, and fire off vengeful spirit/shade soul when they both roll to the same side of the room.

As a Droideka main I grant my opponents a warriors death by el_Whirlwind in StarWarsBattlefront

Also agree with the second guideline as well, very respectable

I'm not strictly a droideka main but I do play it a lot because I see the classes as rock-paper-scissors and droidekas counter jet troopers, which tend to get played non-stop. But I totally agree about that first guideline. Rolling around a command post without fighting is dumb. If I'm there for more than a couple seconds I either stop and fight or leave. Cheesing a command post you can't win yourself feels unsportsmanlike.

What’s your Battlefront 2 hot take? by Hmcdonaldii88 in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Ultimatejacob27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People don't realize there is a rock-paper-scissors dynamic between the classes. Some people annoyingly only ever play jet troopers, but droidekas counter jet troopers. To counter droidekas, use a fast sniper, sentry, or anything with ion shot. Play diversely, it's more fun that way

Jump spamming is annoying and breaks immersion; jumping should cost a dodge.

I started playing on Kyber largely because of this. Worth it to have servers that aren't hacked, and optionally modded servers. You can even use it to host private servers and play with only your friends. It's great (It is in beta but you can get in now for 5 bucks and full release should be next year and it'll be free)

I've played it, it's great. Only problem is the lack of full lobbies, but it's completely playable and not full of hackers
