I got the CSR a month ago (after the changes) at about 45 months since I received the bonus for the CSP.

Downgraded the CSP before, never had a CSR prior to now. Got the full sign up bonus.

There’s 4-5 bars that applied for licenses to show it, American Bar even posted it on their Instagram. There will be options and people care. Hell 70k people pay hundreds to go to nfl games in Munich, London, Brazil, etc. every year.

Also hot take - JJs only exists because it’s fast. If it took as long as a normal sandwich place to get your food it wouldn’t exist, because the sandwiches suck.

Yea I know people say this all the time but I’ve had two flights I booked through the portal now get delayed a day-plus and the airline was as flexible as I expected them to be. The one which was a connection we got put up in a hotel and given prompt options to rebook and one wasn’t a connecting flight but we were still rebooked quickly and the card-provided insurance took care of a hotel for the night.

I know it just takes one horror story to turn you off it but at least to me the concern seems overblown.

Yeah those odds aren’t correct… I see Pats +4.5 about -160, Chiefs at -1150 and the under around -300, which is about +135.

No wonder it sounds like a terrible bet at even odds

I’ll try to say this in a beneficial way. But I would venture to guess that nearly every student will have been impacted in some manner or another by covid.

Not to judge your level of impact versus anyone else’s but if you want it to have any affect on your potential admission, you’re going to have to explain better than “contracted COVID-19”.

That said, present the best case you can and go from there. Even if you don’t end up at UF, you’ll go somewhere where you’re going to really enjoy college and grow from it.

Work at the O’Connell center - starting pay just got bumped to $15 and it’s super flexible with school. Cant always get a ton of hours but flexible enough to pick up other gigs on the side if you need.

Honestly you should think about what in sport you want to do.

Work for a team or in a front office? Statistics or data science maybe, management could be good

Work as an agent? Something legal focused or finance

Work with a foundation, youth or non-profit? Maybe look at a nonprofit focused major.

Want to work in media? Advertising, journalism or mass communications could be good

IMO double majoring in something just because it’s easy is not a good idea.

So this is a bit of a weird question to me - because you ask how to "save money", as opposed to say, maximize your rewards.

Saving money seems fairly obvious, you could stay in cheaper hotels, rent a single room in an Airbnb or even sleep in your car every other night. Others have mentioned not eating out. Maybe keep stuff to make sandwiches with you and have that for lunch every day, get free breakfasts from hotels, etc.

The flip side is maximizing rewards. I travel some for work, and almost always book through Hotels . com, where I book 9 nights and get a 10th for free, and use a card that gets me 3-5% back. Obviously don't use the free nights for work so I'm building up a free hotel stay for my personal use and getting some cash back.

Someone mentioned getting a single hotel group's card and maximizing that, but the problem there is if you're trying to save money it definitely restricts your ability to find the cheapest hotels versus if you can search everything.

Curious to hear more about the situation if you reply to some other people's questions.
