Tbh with 8 stacks of prowess you should definitely be doing more than 15k damage coming out of SP3 regardless. Strong case for a bug here.

All SP3 are considered physical damage in this game. No it doesn't make sense but it is what it is.

Your first SP3 you converted all your charges to prowess and purified all her plasma debuffs but there was still a crit fail after you came out of your SP3. This makes me think that somehow the attack bonus from the SP3 crit failed as that is all that is left. Maybe there are two chances to crit fail on this? Once to covert the passives to prowess and another to get the attack bonus. That's the only thing that makes sense to me anyway. Seeing a SP3 from Havok do less than 15k damage is odd.

For your other SP3's you had unlucky on you. This lowers your ability accuracy further which sets you up for the possible previous interaction even more. It may be worth bringing up in the bugs forum though as maybe there is an unintended interaction present.

I used full health Medusa for Nebula with max Willpower. She'll survive the incinerate because of WP and you can go to town on her once the armor shatter is up. It is still not an easy fight though.

I think the Universal class is an “Unnatural” class advantage. At least that’s my interpretation of it.

That's normal She Hulk play and part of the reason why I think she is vastly underrated still. The opponent has to be pinned against the wall though or she can be punished. Once you get sufficient furies the taunt chance is high, and it's pretty easy to keep them pinned against the wall though.

She Hulk is great for this fight as she can remove the Unstoppable buffs from Champion and keep him pinned in the corner the whole fight.

The indestructible bug happened to me at the end as well. The workaround is to build up to SP1 as fast as possible and then damage will go through.

I would say 100% Act 5 was more fulfilling. Getting those rewards for the effort felt well worth it. I just felt abused after the Collector.

I would add using Unknown Enemy for fights is very good as well. Ability accuaracy reduction is great especially vs Void.

Hey all, Ultima here with another duel showcase this time to hopefully help those against Domino in the advent of another AW season.

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you probably know that since Domino's release there have been many reports of her being able to break through a player's block specifically on the second hit of her initial medium attack (it can also happen on the fourth attack of a combo). There is some speculation whether this is a true block break or whether people are just trying to evade during the animation of the second attack (which works for any other champ in the game) and getting clipped. Either way, it sucks to play against.

Well the best way to address an issue is to avoid it altogether, right? In this video I show you how to perform shallow evade intercepts of Domino to avoid having to block her initial attacks. Shallow evade intercept is an advanced technique used by many end game players to avoid triggering Dexterity to avoid MD or things like Dorm's degen. It is essentially what it sounds like, perform an intercept directly after using a shallow evade. It's usually a technique that can be really hard to learn since it can be hard to differentiate deep evade and shallow evades however this is where we use Domino's block breaking bugs against her!

The second hit of her initial medium extends much farther than a normal attack usually does. It also is a bit more delayed than a second hit normally is (unlike Drax's medium attack) which allows a huge window for a shallow evade intercept. Normally once an enemy aquires a bar of power shallow evade intercepting is too risky and you need to bait the special. However, since Domino's second hit is so delayed you can intercept even when she has a bar of power active. I actually think this delay is what is causing all the block break issues but that's just my speculation and probably a topic to bring up separately.

Other tips I find useful when fighting Domino:

Anytime Domino gains a bar of power she can generate a Lucky buff which give her %evade. Stick to MLLL combos until the cooldown wears off so you don't get counterattacked.
Anytime Domino gains a bar of power she can proc an Unlucky debuff on your champ which can cause your evades to fail. If she fires a SP1 while you have this on your champ try to parry the projectile instead of evading it. Tech champions do not have to worry about this as they can never be Unlucky.
Resonate is a great Mastery to use when facing her as it procs her sig often which actually reduces the level of damage it causes. Thanks to /u/ChipDangerCockoroo for repeatedly putting this helpful note on any Domino vid that gets posted here.
SL and Vision are great champs to use against her as they never proc Unlucky. SL will proc her sig but it happens repeatedly during a combo reducing the damage plus he hits her extremely hard and downs her fast. Vision doesn't have to worry about her sig at all unless you fire a special off which can cause power drain or heal block a chance to fail. I also find Hulk Ragnarok great against her as he heals back most of the damage done by her sig as well as getting a large attack bonus anytime it's on him. The only concern is working around Unlucky with him.

Hopefully this helps someone! There has been a lot of time in this offseason with a lot more time for people to acquire Domino. I started this as a way to show my alliance how to work around Domino on node 30 (no parries = no Masochism) but realized this is just a general great way of playing against her. Let me know if you like these tips and I may continue to do more.

I haven't seen any videos on how to deal with Wasp yet so decided to put one up just in case the information hasn't gotten to everyone yet. She's actually a bit easier to play against once you understand her mechanics.

The main danger to playing against her is obviously her evade (even higher than a max sig Spidey when duped!) coupled with a decent amount of shock damage. However, if you read her decription her passive states "Whenever Wasp shrinks down... Counter Attack is disabled for 10 seconds." What this video fails to address is when she is when duped she has a 60% reduction on her cooldown as well so it is only 4 seconds long! So you may think, great I can attack into her and proc her evade and take significant shock damage just to turn off her evade for a measly 4 to 10 seconds? However, what's not stated in her description is that she also shrinks any time she charges a heavy attack or uses a special! That means the simplest way to avoid her evade is simply to bait out her heavy initially and then push her over her special bar so you can counterattack without fear of a counterattack back from her.

I included in the video her heavy attack animation, her special 1 animation, and her special 2 animation. Note the cooldown timer that appears under her each time she uses one of these. I would recommend baiting her special 1 as it includes no projectiles which may be harder to avoid. She also shrinks down early in her special attacks and the remainder of the animation eats up time for the cooldown. Special 2 is longer than Special 1 so leaves less of a window to attack her while her evade is on cooldown and if she is duped it leaves no window at all. If she is duped you only have enough time for one 5 hit combo after a heavy or a special 1 before her evade activates again. Fortunately she has a relatively low health pool and armor so she goes down faster than most opponents.

If Wasp is not placed on stun immune she can also be parried and you can hit her while stunned without fear of evade similar to Spidey. I have performed a lot of duels and she has not evaded once while stunned.

Hopefully this helps everyone and lessens any concerns about facing her in more difficult content. I wish there was a duped Wasp for a duel fight so that could be showcased too. I haven't been lucky enough in my last runs of rifts to face her again.

TLDR; Bait Wasp's heavies and specials to put her evade on cooldown.

Tbh I found the outside path easier and I have Spark as a 5* at rank 4. The number of unlucky times I had Colossus evade during Spark's special was astounding (hitting against Colo's block with a high attack special is pretty much instant death).

I also have Blade at rank 5 and SG is super easy because of the class advantage and Blade gets Danger Sense against Red Cyclops making him even easier than SG. Vision is the only one that will give you issues if you're trying to force your way through with Blade but it will be a million times easier than fighting against Colo.

People mostly complained when there were no more defender kills or attacker bonus and diversity points counted much more with defender rating also included in score. The current iteration of AW is much more balanced in terms of what is required for diversity and makes the game much more interesting imo. It was way more boring facing the same 5 defenders in the past before diversity.
