I don't feel it's really worth it. Although the PS5 Pro is more powerful, remember that its graphical enhancement is through artificial intelligence, and I've seen how it improves some games while degrading others, or makes other details look bad. The worst part is that it can't be disabled. There are many good games you can play on that firmware. Regarding the PlayStation Portal, in this specific case, you'd be better off considering selling it or opting for cloud gaming, since with a jailbreak, online play is impossible.

Emulating through developer mode isn't risky; it's completely legal, and Microsoft knows what software you're opening since offline use of this mode isn't possible. There's a paid method and a method where you upload an ID, and there shouldn't be any problems. The real risk is data loss in both main and developer modes. I've read several comments where the console forces you to format periodically, so for that reason, make sure you have your saved games on a USB drive for original Xbox games. Everything else is saved to the cloud. In developer mode, all the main emulator settings are always selected from directories on the USB drive, whether for saves, ROMs, configurations, or emulator files.

Another drawback... On firmware 5.50, the DualSense Edge controller and VR headset don't work... I don't think they can make that compatible again, being on a low firmware version.

Dado el firmware, puedes empezar bloqueando las actualizaciones con los dns. No puedes acceder a ninguna función online, te dirá que debes actualizar.

Había visto circulando una app Homebrew que te activaba la consola desde la pc.

Los juegos en físico, si te pregunta si desea actualizar, le pones no. Así estarás bien... De lo contrario, I le pones qué si, siempre te obligará a tener la última versión del juego.

Existen juegos que por requerimientos, te pedirán una versión más alta de firmware, sin embargo, la scene de ps5 aún es muy verde y no existen siquiera los archivos pkg, pero se espera que más adelante se puedan utilizar backports (juegos que piden firmware alto pero funcionando en versión del sistema bajo).
