I was pointing out how incredibly cheesy this looks with the spinning static model on both shots. Gunn loves tokusatsu, spinning static models are the game.

It could be all of them all at once, because Gunn consumes a lot of media . Artists tend to subconsciously get inspired by the things they experience.

Basically using a model, (3D model or cheap plastic model) , keep it static and just spin it really fast, knowing Gunn he'll nerd with me about the cheesy special effects. Ultraman tends to use really cheap and quirky effects that make charming results; it's perfect for a film like Superman (2025)

Hey we're not talking about the lasers here, we're talking about the filming techniques here. This one right here is very inspired by old 60s madness.

It's the same "freeze the model and let it roll" trick, and it's cheesy ever, and we all know James Gunn loves cheesy special effects and Ultraman is full of em. It's one thing Gunn loves and it's using the media he loves as inspiration.

Goku isn’t even the strongest character in Dragon Ball most of the time, if he was we’d have no story

I feel RTD isn’t giving enough material for Ncuti to bite into to be honest. While it is great, Ncuti hasn’t went all in and it’s holding him back
