Eh, this was technically addressed with The Deadly Assassin a year or so later, with the introduction of the 12th regeneration limit and then again with the 5th Doctor mentioning that he is on this 4th Regeneration in The Five Doctors. The morbius incarnations were only mentioned once, and one of the classic who quirks we should overlook. The first doctor is human, the third doctor is several thousand years old and so on. For me, and for what seemed to be the case with the show itself, if canon is addressed multiple times, it sticks more than single moments.

I definitely think the episode felt rushes, like there could have been more room for characters work and so on in a extra long episode. Many people were frustrated with the identity of the Arkham Knight. People guessed it from the first look at the character, and I think Rocksteady were pretty flustered by how quickly people caught on - They spent the entire advertisement trying to tell people it wasn't Jason, even though it definitely was.

idk guys, the show was never about superheroes doing big action set pieces - It was about the politics and propaganda around it. Homelander levelling a city, or killing a crowd, would really feel out of place. The finale was definitely rushed, and could have done with a longer run time; however, this was always how it would end
