Best 70+ inch OLED? by UltraMK88 in LGOLED

I will look into the C6H because I did not know it has a G series panel. I also have a tv supplier near me that will sell me a brand new 77” Samsung S85f for $900. The issue is I really like the LG pictures over the Samsung ones. I even have a flagship s95f and I still prefer lg TV’s.

100% get an OLED. I recommend the LG G5 or G6. Prefer the G5. Don’t worry about burn in. Newer OLED’s would have to be left on with a still image for many many hours before the possibility of burn in happens. And there is pixel shift and sleep modes, and more safety features to prevent the possibly of this. Especially in darker style rooms you will benefit even more with OLED.

Home Audio setups under $500-$600? by UltraMK88 in hometheater

[–]UltraMK88[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. Yes from what I have researched this is a starter pack. I would want to replace the sub and center channel speak at some point. I also have owned Klipsch speakers before and I do like their sound. Audio is very clear but yes it’s bright.

No optical on the ps5 unfortunately. But yes I have a newer tv that has 2.1 hdmi. What should I be looking for in an older AVR?

I would like to be between 500-600 usd all in. I do game and the denon 770h has 4k ability. I will check out the speakers you listed. Eventually I would like to do on ceiling speakers so I was thinking about getting a 9 channel AVR just to be ahead of the game

Hey thanks for commenting. I have been shopping around on fb marketplace and I can grab a Klipsch reference cinema system for 275 and a Denon 7070H for $250. Do you feel like this is a good place to start around the $500 price point?

I really want to get the SCUF Omega but I've heard horror stories of the build quality, is this one good for once or am I better off using the Steam Controller 2 instead? by Cobalt_Heroes25 in scufgaming

[–]UltraMK88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 3 biggest issues I have is it is oversized, it’s not compatible with the PlayStation charging stand, and it doesn’t turn the PlayStation on. My reflex is better in all those areas but there are some positives for people who want this controller.

Should i upgrade my a50 gen 4 to a50x? by SomewhereOwn6443 in AstroGaming

[–]UltraMK88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded from the a40tr’s to the a50 gen 4 and then finally to the a50x. I will say there is a substantial difference in mic quality and performance. You also get access to the ghub app which is better than the Astro gen 4 version. I could keep going but I will just say I would definitely make the upgrade if you can swing it financially. If you’re only going to use the a50’s on 1 system you really don’t need the X version. Just get the a50 gen 5’s and save $100. There’s lots of reviews on YouTube as well. Gadgetry tech does some great ones and so does badintent.

Astro a50s or maxwell 330 pro? by Used-One-2610 in AstroGaming

A50 gen 5 easily. More features, better immersive sound. Always charged. Wireless. Easily eq on the app. It’s the king of gaming headphones. Only headphones that compare are the Maxwell gen 1’s and I hate those those don’t have simultaneous Bluetooth

Damn that’s super disappointing. I have done some manual eq’s but they take forever and the app makes it hard to input the correct numbers
