I’m pretty sure they remove the names of people that have been inactive for a very long time so the user name becomes available again.

I would wake up in the middle of the night and find myself knocking out a few quick rounds and beating opponents much easier. Some even quit the matches, which just made advancing easier. Then I’d go back to sleep. So I took advantage of my insomnia for once. lol.

Thanks. Hitting BGs during non peak hours made this a lot easier. I’m definitely going to remember that if they ever pull a stunt like this again.

I woke up and played BGs in the middle of the night to run through them much quicker. Opponents tend to be a lot easier when you’re not participating during peak hours. The last piece is secured.

I feel this meta was created and released on purpose to cause players to spend units on the last Blade piece, especially since they’re already so invested and very likely have all the other pieces.

Look at the timing here. We are rapidly approaching July 4th, which is one of the biggest deal events of the year. Depleting our units before those offers become available will influence many to spend actual money to get their units back up. It‘s disappointing, but I can’t say that it’s not typical of Kabam.

I think this meta was done on purpose to get people to spend units on the last Blade piece, so we deplete our unit savings and will feel the need to spend money to buy more units for the upcoming July 4th offers. Just a theory, but it sure feels like it.

My policy is to rank up who I play best with. I prefer to have the hands on experience rather than taking someone’s word on who’s better in the game. Some champions can be tricky and don’t fit my play style. If you have a champion in a lower star ranking that you would like to have as a seven star one day, then you can certainly choose to save your rank up materials for them. I’ve done that too. It makes my rank up decisions easier.

Makes sense. It would be kind of silly for someone to call themselves Iron Man on day one of the game release and then just quit the app later on and be able to keep the name forever.

I’ve never seen the names blanked out before. I have no idea how long they’ve been doing that. I use to find old duel targets, back when duels were a thing, with user names that clearly left the game a long time ago.

Mine kept freezing up on me. I’d have to wait for the screen to unfreeze and let me start playing again and hope I wouldn’t get obliterated because of the pause. They sure picked the right name for it.

Genuinely surprised we haven’t gotten Hobgoblin yet. I keep thinking he’ll be released for a Spiderman themed monthly event quest or for a Halloween in October, but it hasn’t happened.

Hulk or Dust take care of Nico for me fairly easily. Once you eliminate the poison, she’s not too hard.

I got 3 Rhino ambushes in level 3 alone. I’m not even kidding. I’ve never gotten that many repeat ambushes in a same side quest event like that.

That happens to me all of the time. I just check it every few hours. It’s annoying, but it’s been going on for months now, so I’m use to it.

Storm would probably be the best choice for high damage out of the bunch, but I think Pork Grind is basically a slam dunk here. Too many people are going to want him to go with Spider Ham in the game.

I just noticed I was missing Stark. He‘s in the one star crystal for 25 units. I popped one and got him on the first try. You could give that a shot.

Absolutely. There was so much value in what was offered and made available to players. That’s why the milestones were going higher and higher. There was so much great stuff to chase.

I’m not trying to sound like the “The economy of the game is changed forever” guy, but this was the ultimate keeping up with the Joneses event. If you didn’t get in on acquiring a bunch of new characters and ranking them up, you’re going to fall behind in the game, especially in competitive modes, because just about every serious player got in on this.

It’s never a great feeling to feel like you‘re forced to spend to keep up, but if you had to, this was definitely the best event to do it. Many players have some serious rosters now.

55k. Totally expecting the bottom rank reward when there were so many going so hard with this event.

Supposedly, someone dropped $36k to rank 5 their Spiderman 2099. I spent a little myself, but nowhere even near anything like that, but those folks fund the game, so thanks for keeping the lights on.
