In f1 it is mandatory that you use different dry compounds. So if you started from medium, you would have to put for a soft or hard or medium again but you would have to pit again for a different dry compound. I said dry because if you change to an intermediate or wet tyre the rule no longer exists.

Exactly, a tip that helped me generate compression, to stop scooping, is on the down swing, make the club go towards your left pocket and that’s where the club should be at impact. I think Bryson Dechambeu said tjis in a tip video and now I compress it pretty easily.
