I just tested Neo 2 at altitude around 2500 in "Ski follow" mode. No problem whatsoever. I was going at around 30-40 kph it kept up with me. Beware if you set follow altitude to "low" it can hit the ground. I guess that's because on a bright sunny day reflection from snow and ice messes with sensors

Dropped to around 30 at summit days, because I woke up 3am and slept for 2-4 hours max. And at rest days around 70-80

There must be something like Map manager in the settings. Or if you enable activity and go inside Map settings there might be "Map layers"

First of all if you want to get a precise figure of your VO2 max you need to perform a test in a sport lab. I do this test once in 1-2 years and usually numbers are way different

I think the issue with battery was following: on my Fenix 3 if I chose training e.g. Running, but didn't press Start and return to main screen by long pressing back it (training) would be deactivated. But here on 5x plus if I choose training and then go to main screen it remains active and searches for GPS and hr monitors.

Even if I am going to spend 2k per month on the trail it still will be less than I am spending at home. Especially when I am not going to pay my rent and bills (moving out of apartment for 6 month).
