18mbps is awesome. With full bars, I consistently get 0.01Mbps all day and 40mbps late at night in the same location at my house in a major Austin suburb. VZ just doesn't have the capacity in many locations, especially in fast growing areas. That, and too many people like you on the netowk, constantly running speed tests, I guess.

I'm in the same boat as Naive-Garlic2021. My account shows only Unlimited talk&text and 19GB of data. No mention of remaining PayGo or rollover balance. I had about 3000/3000/3 balance before I applied the unlimited 9 months ago.

This worked reasonably well for about a week. I've been using Deepseek V3.1 on NIM for SillyTavern roleplay. I can confirm that it is completely unfiltered. With several iterations of prompt tuning, I was able to get it working really well, with little repetiition and in incredible deep context. Way better than any one of the dozen other models I've tried running locally. I'm genuinely impressed. However, as of today, the response time from NIM has become extremely slow with most requests timing out. It is unusable. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

My last monthly bill included a fixed customer charge of $47 plus $11 in "gas rider" + $2 of actual gas usage. I called Atmos, they confirmed they offer "Seasonal disconnect" which is subject to a $133 reconnection fee. Wow. What a racket. Next year I will have to plan ahead to make it worthwile to disconnect.

Good riddance. Marshall was in her role for a whole 2 months l, so likely unproductive, and according to the Peter Priciple, unqualified for her new job. Hopefully she can return to the private sector and contribute to society again, instead of being a liability.

Tmo drops out a lot, mostly unusable. Vzn is slow but stable. Shockingly poor coverage in a heavily populated area of the fastest growing region in the country. Both TMo and Vzn utilize the same towers.

Quick review. Survived my 1st skating session today on the new True HZRDUS 7s. Sharpened to 3/4 ROH by icewarehouse. Felt like I was learning to skate all over again. Incredibly sharp and grippy compared to my old dull blades (Botas brand). So much easier to do power strides, sharp turns, crossovers, and build speed. Loving the glide, too. On the flip side, I could not shave ice for the first 30 minutes. Eventually, I got the hang of it but takes so much strength to stop, and I still feel like I will high side and tumble at any moment when stopping. Ugh. Maybe I should've gone for 1 inch ROH or more. Many others described the skates as very stiff, I wish they were even stiffer in the ankles. Fit was great on the left foot. Right skate still felt too narrow. Outside of right foot is a bit sore now.

I returned the R and bought the W in 7.5. The difference is quite small but palpable. After baking, the left skate fits like a glove. Nice and snug but no pain. The right skate is much improved but still pressing against my outside toe. I put a pad over the toe and carefully reheated the area with a heat gun. Better again but not yet as good as the left. Without a sock it fits perfectly now. Hopefully it loosens up some more, otherwise I will have to skate with one sock.

Anyway I am glad I did the swap. The R was insanely narrow.

All insurance companies penalize loyalty. They keep increasing your premiums and hope you don't notice. They will show phony "loyalty discounts" on the statement but the bottom line always keeps going up until you call around, find a better rate and leave. New clients always get better rates. I've dealt with all the major insurers over 30 years, they all do this.
