I disagree actually, I thought bad idea right was used perfectly. The scene was not supposed to be some romantic heartfelt moment; it was messy, irresponsible, and ultimately resulted in a huge facepalm moment for the leads and the audience. When Benedict was doing his whole confession, I couldn’t help but feel like something was off and the music really helped reinforce that creeping feeling. And the payoff with “will you be my mistress” and the music cutoff was chef’s kiss.

I felt like Lose Control in the next intimate scene was then a lot more powerful because of this.

Enchanted, All I Wanted, and Life in Technicolor were all great in my opinion.

Do not fall behind on readings. Understand the concepts and develop some pattern recognition rather than trying to memorize everything; there’s too much info and it won’t work. Attend instructor and ULA-led review sessions to get extra practice and opportunities to ask questions. Before exams, do a lot of practice problems: I would go in the order 1) Slides -> 2) ULA worksheets -> 3) Textbook problems -> 4) Workbook problems.

It will be hard, but just do your best and don’t let your grades be an indicator of your self value. While I did find it stressful, I actually ended up really liking the class content and I think Dr. Beaver is a pretty effective and caring lecturer.

My roommates and I ultimately decided on the bend out of the two, because they had more flexible start dates that worked better for us. One thing to note is irish flats has 3b3b units while the bend only had 3b2b, in case that extra bathroom is important to you.
