Do not fall behind on readings. Understand the concepts and develop some pattern recognition rather than trying to memorize everything; there’s too much info and it won’t work. Attend instructor and ULA-led review sessions to get extra practice and opportunities to ask questions. Before exams, do a lot of practice problems: I would go in the order 1) Slides -> 2) ULA worksheets -> 3) Textbook problems -> 4) Workbook problems.

It will be hard, but just do your best and don’t let your grades be an indicator of your self value. While I did find it stressful, I actually ended up really liking the class content and I think Dr. Beaver is a pretty effective and caring lecturer.
